We have been paying a yearly subscription for this product for several years. We signed up for a deal that guaranteed our package price for life. This week, we received an email breaking that promise and increasing our price by over 400%. After one email trying to find out more information, we simply received a generic "Your account is cancelled, thank you for trying!" email. That tells you all you need to know about how this company will treat you. Fortunately, the product is nothing special and the same features exist for free or built into themes etc. Don't be fooled by the marketing. At the end of the day, this is just an email popup form.

First time I bought a premium subscription in November 2020 getting advantage from Black Friday discount. Then I discovered that for this kind of subscription they still to let their logo on all the pop up and other stuff that they provide. Very bad. Last week I told to myself, "ehi lets give them a second chance" so I came back on my account and I found they de-activated it, then they told me that to access to my account I have to re-activate it and they charged me 160 usd without any kind of statement or warning before to do that. Always for a very basic service with their logo on all the service they provide. Plus they ask to upgrade for any other service. They have an upgrade also to let you chat with someone. Really remember me an episode of black mirror. But ehi, what we have to expect from the company who invented the system of fake statements of people buying on store to push sales?

They make me select a star so that's why they have a 1, not a 0, which is what they should have. Atrocious customer service. Shady as ****. I enrolled in their service when purchasing a website, never actually used it because I found a better option and then tried to cancel it. Their website *does not work*. You fill out contact forms and never hear back from anyone. You try their help chat and get told to fill out a form and that they can't help you despite being, you know, *a help chat*... I finally was able to get back into my account to cancel it but it only worked when it was four days after the autocharge day. They charged me for an entire year's worth of services. I tried to contact them and never heard back. I disputed the charge with my bank and they sent my bank documentation saying I had cancelled after the date... well, yeah! Because I couldn't get through to anybody at the company! I am still waiting to hear back from someone about my refund. Do not get scammed by these people. Choose literally any other email service instead!

Great product. TERRIBLE customer service. We were an early user of OptinMonster, so when they changed all their plans and increased prices they kept us on a Legacy plan. However, we had a blunder and missed our annual renewal reminders as the notification email account was no longer active. As soon as we realised our account was suspended we logged in and tried to renew, however it wouldn't let us renew our previous Legacy plan. It was making us renew for double the cost with 3 websites instead of UNLIMITED. I contacted Support and they refused to put us back on our previous plan. They claimed that the system wouldn't allow it, and it's not possible because of a PayPal restriction. After 2 weeks we finally gave up and paid for a new account at a much higher price. Very frustrating, but got over it and moved on... Until, literally a few weeks later I get an email on another OptinMonster account I no longer use, offering me 90% off ANY PLAN if I "come back to OptinMonster". So it turns out, existing loyal customers get screwed, and they're not willing to offer you any deals. But if you cancel your account, they'll send you a 90% discount offer. Stay away from these guys, their tactics are dishonest and they don't deserve your business.

Spent five hours attempting to integrate Optinmonster and to no avail. Customer service appears to be incompetent. Suggested I call back in the morning. BEWARE!
