Optimum RVReviews of optimumrv.com

We purchased a Damon Tuscany motorhome from the Pottstown location on 9/29/2025 and paid in full with no lien or loan. We still have not received a title, and every time we talk to someone at the dealership (the title person, the sales person, the general manager) we get a different answer (it’s in the mail, the state is working on it, the previous owner’s bank hasn’t processed the payoff, we have “positive movement”, you’ll have it soon, the bank mailed the title to the old owner and they have been sitting on it since November). The responses to our inquiries have been ever changing, but with no results. Our temporary tags expire TOMORROW (12/19/205) and we will be unable to legally drive our motorhome after that date. We asked for additional temporary tags so we could at least drive the motorhome, but the “title” person at Pottstown said “I asked corporate to handle it” a couple of days ago, but now she won’t even answer the phone or respond to messages. We just want our title that we paid for almost three months ago. And if there is some delay, a clear and precise explanation, not some run around. Not some generic “we have positive movement”. And this doesn’t even address the dash cluster that was stated on the paperwork that the dealership owed us. We've spoken to the general manager, the title person, the parts person, the service manager....and it's all the same. No clear explanation, and no title. This doesn't even touch on the sales experience where they charged is a mandatory $2,495 "cleaning and prep" fee but they did NOTHING. No service, no cleaning, nothing. The unit was filthy inside and out, including hair in the shower drain. The techs were obviously unfamiliar with the unit and couldn't answer any questions about it and couldn't even find half of the switches for things. Their power pedestal specifically for demoing and testing motorhomes couldn't handle both AC units at once, so even though it had a 50 amp breaker, it repeatedly tripped it. And it took them several hours just to get through the sales process that amounted to us giving them money, and them giving us keys. The sales person was constantly blowing smoke and making things up about himself, the motorhome, and anything that came up. The only good thing about the place is the techs seemed competent and friendly from what little interaction we had with them.

I never got my tags from optimum rv. I purchased the vehicle 6 months ago late may or June 2025 and we are now midway into NOV, I have not received my tags or title. I am stuck making payments on the vehicle I do not technically own. I call every day to get an update but these guys are refusing to answer my calls.

I recently had a disappointing experience with Optimum RV Center in Titusville, FL, and I feel compelled to share it to help others make informed decisions. While their overall rating is low (around 1.3 stars), I still recommend reading multiple reviews before proceeding. I contacted their Titusville location to inquire about purchasing a Winnebago Travato, offering $90,000 out-the-door, including sales tax but no additional fees. A salesperson followed up enthusiastically via voicemail, indicating interest and requesting a bit more information to move forward. After speaking with both the salesperson and the general manager, we reached an agreement on the price. However, just a few hours later, I heard nothing back despite expectations of photos and paperwork to proceed with a deposit and inspection. When I followed up, I was informed that a second manager had reconsidered the offer, effectively backing out of the deal. This sudden change felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, which eroded my trust completely. I was prepared to travel a significant distance for an in-person inspection, but after reviewing feedback on sites like Yelp and the Better Business Bureau—filled with similar accounts of unfulfilled promises and refund issues—I decided to walk away. I hope Optimum RV can improve their processes to avoid these kinds of frustrations for future customers. For now, I’d advise caution and suggest exploring other dealerships. #BuyerBeware

Service, registration and warranty SERVICE: We took RV for some minor repairs right after purchase with claims of being repaired, but continued to have the same problem and found out that the issue was not never repaired, forcing us to complete the majority of repairs on our own. REGISTRATION: It took over 60 days to receive our plates. WARRANTY: Paid off RV, requested warranty refund and have been getting the run around since pay off date. Have received nothing but excuses with total disregard to customer needs. Our bad experience started the day of purchase April 2nd 2025 to current date of August 18, 2025.

After speaking to the sales manager he stated he wkuld call back with a video tour off a camper. He was dishonest and decietful. Never called back after waiting 3 hours. Lied on the phone. Dont go near this place.

Bought a camper in 2023 and purchased a warranty as well with it. Traded the camper in a couple months ago and canceled the warranty. Warranty company sent the remaining balance/check to Optimum RV and said they would forward it to me. 2 months later and MANY repeated calls and messages left for Optimum's manager, Optimum has basically stolen my money at this point.

I give this place one star due to the friendliness the staff here shows, but of course they want you to buy or sell. My husband and I traded in our camper on a consignment camper from their lot on 06/26/2025. It is now 07/31/2025, and our old camper has not been paid off yet, and the loan paperwork just got completed 07/25/25. Our first payment on the new camper was on 07/26/2025. We now have two payments to make on two separate campers, in which one we no longer have and is already listed for sale on their lot. I have made phone call after phone call and am always given "They will give you a call back, they are currently busy," or "I will have to talk to so and so, then give you a call back." I have yet to receive a phone call back. The business they provide after they make a sale is very unprofessional.

I would not give them any stars if possible. I met with Will Goodman to look at a Newmar coach worth 250k I had concerns with the way the rv shook when driving. Well make sure you read all these reviews before dealing with this company. I should have read more and BELIEVED them. When I had my concerns after driving the rv Will had me sign a "WE OWE" aggrement stating the issues found and with that aggrement I had to put $5000.00 down or they would not even touch the rv to make any repairs to interest me in purchasing the rv. We after we discussed tires Will plain told me if we have to put a set of tires on it we will. You put the 5k down and we will fix it. Period or we will give you your money back. Well that turned out to be a huge LIE. After I left after leaving 5k as a good faith toward them repairing the rv to my liking so we could purchase everything just stalled. They repaired the few minor cabinet repairs that I could have done in an hour. But the biggest concern that I clearly stated to Will was the shaking when driving. Optimum took it to their guy and stated the rv still shook after getting tires balanced and that it was supposed to shake. This will be my fourth rv and none of them shake as I am in the tire and repair business and all my rvs drive like a dream. Wll after they said they could not repair it I tried to help and found a tire store close to them and they said they would take a look at it. after the tech put on 2 tires and said the other tires were out of round and it needed more tires. I had not got off the phone with the tires store when Will texted me from Optimum and said they were picking up the rv and it drove smooth as can be. Now why would the tire store guy tell me different. We were suppose to drive down june 14th to trade our newmar and pick up the newer one. Being skeptical I flew down instead and to my instincts the rv just still shook. We went back to the store and I was unhappy. I was tired of the back and fourth with the sales manager so Will got Rich Wosnoski one of the sales managers. As I stated to Rich what was discusse on the we owe aggrement Rich clearly stated the rv was in ready to go condition and if I did not take it I would not get my money back. I asked 3 times and Rich stated I was not getting it back. Well I left with out the rv and had to hire an attorney and go back and fourth for a month and a half. I spent hours on the phone calling the storeg getting put on hold for hours and never being able to get a hold of anyone I finally talked to someone who cared in the customer relations department. She read my attourneys letter and she helped me get a refund. DO NOT do business with these people as all the reviews are 100% TRUE as I found out. What was supposed to be a dream purchase turned into a nightmare. DO NOT USE OPTIMUM RV as they will take advantage of you and FORCE you into subpar rvs. AND THEY WERE ASKING THE HIGHEST AMOUNT FOR THAT EXACT RV I COULD GET ELSEWHERE FOR OVER 10-15K LESS!! Thats what you get for not reading reviews!!! AND KEEP IN MIND THEY HAVE A SERVICE THAT GETS RID OF THE BAD REVIEWS AS THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I HAVE SUBMITTED THIS REVIEW BUT I WILL KEEP POSTING TO HELP OTHERS!!!
