9/18/2026 I booked **Operex Auto Trans** to ship a BMW from Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Scottsdale, Arizona. Before paying a $150 deposit, I specifically asked whether the $645 quote was the complete, all-in price. Operex Auto Trans confirmed in both email and text that there would be no additional charges. When it came time to arrange pickup, Operex Auto Trans told me the available driver wanted $1,650 payable on delivery—more than twice the quoted price. They did not honor the price they had confirmed in writing, leaving me to cancel and find another way to move the car while it remained in Michigan. I had asked directly about the total cost before booking, which makes this especially frustrating. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Operex Auto Trans. If you are shipping a car for the first time, get the price and refund terms in writing and be aware that the amount quoted may change when a driver is assigned.

BAIT AND SWITCH estimate was 285 and I accepted, I paid a $100 deposit. Several days later, he called and said he found a driver for me, the cost: $900, in addition to the deposit.He calls himself Mark Miller, has a thick Indian accent, possibly a fake name. He argued and yelled, refused to give back my deposit. Lied to me several times. Had someone call me and claim she was a driver.

It has been 3 weeks with lots of broken promises. Now getting my deposit refunded seems to be Impossible. Emma said we could handle my transportation needs and after several appointments to meet with drivers nothing happened. I have filled a chargeback with my credit card company. I will update this review if they fix this problem.

This is what I was told but this is not what happened. They doubled my price the day of pickup. Mark was very unprofessional and was trying to talk over me. I tried numerous times to get my deposit back and just use another company but they wouldn't do that. I paid a deposit of $300 and they said that they couldn't give it back to me. This was my first time using a company to transport a vehicle. This experience was TERRIBLE!! I will not EVER use this company again and I would advise you not to either. They even made me take my review down because they said they wouldn't transport my vehicle unless I did. Now that my vehicle has arrived here is my review. The JETTCO driver was great. He was helpful when I turned my car over to him and was very nice. Next time I will definitely cut out the middle man.

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with an auto transport broker. On June 19, 2026, I paid a $100 deposit after being quoted $545 by Emma from Operex Auto Trans. Before paying, I specifically asked whether the price would change, and I was led to believe it would not. After taking my deposit, they barely communicated with me for three weeks. Then, out of nowhere, they told me the price had jumped to $1,695 (at one point they even mentioned $1,795 before saying my remaining balance would be $1,695 after the deposit). That's more than three times the original quote. This feels like a classic bait-and-switch. They use a very low quote to get your deposit, then later claim they can't find a driver unless you pay thousands more. Had they been honest about the real market price from the beginning, I never would have placed the order. When I refused to pay the inflated price, I requested a cancellation and a refund because they failed to honor the quoted price. The entire experience was frustrating, misleading, and a complete waste of my time. I would strongly avoid this company. There are plenty of reputable transport companies that don't lure customers in with unrealistic quotes only to dramatically increase the price after taking a deposit.
