This company is an absolute disappointment. During the phone interview, the recruiter acted as if their organization were some kind of world‑class operation, lecturing me about work ethic while claiming they desperately needed new employees. Yet after that conversation, they completely vanished — no response, not even after I followed up. Before preaching to others, they should fix their own professionalism and learn how to treat people with basic respect.

OPENLANE sold us a 2021 Hyundai Palisade with undisclosed structural damage. This was not announced, not disclosed, and not flagged anywhere in the listing. We only discovered it after the purchase, when the vehicle was already in our possession. Their arbitration process is a complete joke. It was unprofessional, dismissive, and clearly designed to protect the auction and the seller rather than the buyer. There was zero accountability for a major defect that should never be missed or hidden. This was not a minor oversight. It cost us time, money, and trust. Do not buy from OPENLANE.

BUYER BEWARE! This company does not inspect the vehicles well. You will get stuck with a vehicle that has problems.

No wonder they have so low score, worst company ever, they let franchise overprice their cars claiming there’s no issues till you get the cars. Mine had the suspension messed up and came back saying that’s not covered and the inspection “conveniently “ forgot to take a clear picture of a warning with an electrical issue by changing the message on it. Now I’m deep in a hole because I bought at book with a whole lot of problems.. word of advice: stay away anff do go to auctions where at least you can see and turn on the car by yourself if you don’t want to get screwed over

This hands down is the most unethical auto auction I ever experienced in my entire years in the auto industry. The employee are on border line or being evil. Here are just a few examples. They use to allow the dealer to post his comment with the experience he had with the seller but guess what Open lane management did? They removed ALL comments to protect bad new car stores so if a new dealer in this scam app it there's bids on a car they have NO IDEA how bad he is. There so called inspectors in my opinion have been paid off by the new car store to hide KNOWN defects. Example I purchased a auto the inspector said "NEEDS JUMP START". when you read this what do you dealers think it needs a alternator right? Well when we had the auto delivered the engine was SEIZED!!! How can mis diagnose this !!! Another example is as you are aware when you dealers go to a auction and the title is T/A title absent you write them a check and wait for a title right? No not with this corrupt company they will take your money without any title first if you not like that they said we charge you $20 dollars. My dealer friends I can go on and on with them DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM..I encourge all of you to make comments on here to get the word out about them

Their arbitration policy is fake. They don't have option to unwind the deal. The diesel car has engine noise, they don't cover it because it's upper engine noise... condition report is also not true...

Can't be bothered to show up for scheduled inspection. Avoid if at all possible.

Selling a car and refusing to prove the state it's in by posting or sending pictures of workstatements. Anonymous employees answering that you first need to buy a classic car before you're allowed to inspect it. Stupidity.
