Typically, when the clasp is properly fastened, it should make a small “click” sound, confirming that the post is aligned and securely in place. That said, S925 silver posts are designed to be gentle on sensitive ears, but they are also relatively soft by nature. Over time or with wear, the post may slightly bend, which can affect how well it aligns with the clasp and may lead to the issue you described.
