I've worked with Onlinebookclub.org for over two years now. I can't say there's never been a hiccup, but each of them was taken care of or corrected within two or three weeks of cropping up. I have had to message the owner, Scott, several times and he has always responded within a week. That time frame is understandable (to me) for the owner of a website who is also a husband and father. I have written numerous reviews and have been paid promptly within the time set in the guidelines every single time. I have won the Book Of the Day drawing twice so far, which is always a thrill! The only reason I deducted a star was because of the occasional three week wait time for moderators to help with issues. I think three weeks is a bit excessive. Other than that, I genuinely enjoy working there.

Best place for aspiring reviewers like me to get more and more of the encouraging environment. The rating mechanism and score system are on the par of excellence. I got to learn a lot from the club. Appreciate.

As a reviewer, there are plenty of benefits at OBC. I've been reviewing for over 3 years and have enjoyed being paid to read and review books. I've also won the giveaway raffle a couple of times. I do it to supplement my income and to keep me reading, even when it seems I don't have time. It serves that purpose well. It is an interesting international community of readers and writers. The books vary in quality, but that's what reviews are for. There is always a selection of books to choose from, and if you do well, you can be a part of the editing team. It's a fun gig.
