I paid $400+ for FST footpads and all the accessories. I had issues with the activating of the footpad. Their customer service was terrible. I sent videos showing them it wasn’t working. After two weeks of back and forth, I had to tell them that I do not feel safe on this product and I am not going to use it; then they offered for me to buy another front pad, pay for shipping, send back the bad footpad and pay for shipping….and if they find something wrong they will reimburse me for the part, not the shipping. I don’t have time for this. I trashed the footpads and am selling the boards. I can’t believe that I have 5 onewheels, and they are treating me like this, with a board that was two months old and brand new footpads I had ordered. I bought a fungineers board, and their customer support is amazing.

I am extremely disappointed with my…
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Antic Bikes and its parent company, Future Motion.
I purchased an Antic bike for my 10-year-old son. We waited approximately three months for delivery because the bike was marketed as a premium product. Unfortunately, after only two months of ownership, the hydraulic brake system began leaking mineral oil.
This is not normal wear and tear. A hydraulic brake leak on a nearly new bike is a safety issue, especially when the bike is being ridden by a child.
I immediately contacted Antic customer support and submitted photos documenting the leak. I was eventually directed to a supervisor named Clifford. Rather than replacing the brake line, brake assembly, or authorizing a warranty repair, I was instructed to remove and reinstall a screw, purchase my own mineral oil, refill the brake system, and contact them again if the problem continued.
Anyone familiar with hydraulic brakes understands that this is not a simple maintenance procedure. Properly refilling and bleeding a hydraulic brake system requires tools, supplies, and technical knowledge. If I choose not to perform the repair myself, I must pay a bicycle shop to diagnose and repair a problem that developed on a bike that is only two months old.
What is most frustrating is that I received no commitment that Antic or Future Motion would cover the cost of diagnosis, labor, or replacement parts if the issue turned out to be more than a loose screw. The burden was placed entirely on me to troubleshoot a safety-related defect.
Antic advertises a 12-month warranty, which gave me confidence when making the purchase. When a critical component such as a hydraulic brake system fails after only two months, customers reasonably expect the company to stand behind its product and warranty. In my case, that did not happen.
I was not asking for anything unreasonable. I simply expected the company to either provide replacement components or cover the cost of diagnosing a potential warranty defect. Instead, I was asked to spend additional money and time trying to determine the cause of the failure myself.
The bike is attractive and fun to ride, but my experience with customer support and warranty service has been disappointing. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Antic Bikes or Future Motion to others without significant reservations.

Bad service on an expensive product
My GT has a 6.5" tire. The options on the website were for 6" or 7". With guidance from customer service, I ordered the 6", which did not fit. The company is refusing to accept responsibility and get me the correct tire without me bearing the expenses for their mistake.

It's gonna be expensive! Quality is really bad!
Just be warned: Onewheels are fun as long as they work, but they are terribly expensive and if they brick over night the company doesn't care and you'll pay steep fees for repair.
My Onewheel GTS stopped turning on over night without warning. Always ridden in dry conditions and stored between 50 and 80% charge.
After sending it in for service I got a dry note that the Battery is bricked and they replace it for USD 800 + shipping (which obviously I have to pay, while I could pick it up 10 minutes away).
Customer service was friendly but totally useless and couldn't do anything for me. They confirmed on the phone that the charging history showed that I did everything right and that there is no water or physical damage ... great!
The new one comes with 6 months warranty. Just in comparison: My electric vehicle battery has a 150k miles and 10 year warranty.

Here’s another complaint to add to FM’s business practices. Anything you buy from this place you will have to pay to ship any parts back regardless of who’s at fault and when items are returned which were never used and brand new they will NOT refund you the total amount you paid. This is unacceptable and until this changes will never deal with them again. FM could be an awesome company but as of now more of the same garbage. No thanks.

Buyer Beware
Buyer beware — extremely poor support after a serious malfunction
I had a OneWheel malfunction while riding where the board unexpectedly locked up and caused me to crash and get injured. This is not a minor issue — this is a serious safety failure.
After the incident, I contacted the company immediately, provided diagnostic data and photos, and clearly explained what happened. I expected at minimum some level of accountability, concern, or willingness to investigate and support the situation. And I might add that the board only had 80 miles on it at the time of malfunction.
Instead, I was essentially dismissed with no meaningful help, no resolution, and no offer of replacement or compensation. Just a generic response and a dead end.
What’s most concerning is not just the malfunction itself, but the complete lack of support afterward when something clearly went wrong in a real-world riding situation.
Based on my experience, I personally cannot recommend this product. If something goes wrong, don’t expect much support from the company.

Don't buy a Onewheel GT
Don't buy a Onewheel GT!
My younger brother bought a onewheel XR. He was very excited to go onewheeling with me so I bought one. About a month or so later, I started having ghosting issues. It almost got run over by a car when it decided to take off over the street. I contacted onewheel in regards to the issue and the recall. They told me that mine was not covered and that I would need to purchase a new footpad from them at full cost. It really bums me out because I wanted the new XL. But I can't justify spending my money on a company that does not support their customers or their lives. Thanks for the paperweight.
