Service was alright
Service was alright. I had to continually call them back to get things going even though they said they would call me. They charged me twice for the credit report.

These places just keep putting you through a circle adding dings to your credit themselves by adding inquiries to your report...I know inquiries don't damage it much but when you contact companies like this and they check with several other lenders, these "dings" start to add up and DO cause harm. I will tell those of you who are saying this and that about Lexington Law - if you can afford it, it does work! I paid them for a few months and they not only started to help improve my score, they did share some pointers with me that will continue to help me. I could no longer afford the service (we were paying for myself and my husband) or we would still be with them. My friend's mom also used them and had horrible credit, with a few years she opened her own bakery...I know it's hard to decipher which services work and which do not anymore because of the "all-mighty-dollar" but again, Lexington Law *does* work!

Kerri, There are several people with your first name in our system and I have no way of finding your file! It's unlikely that you actually incurred hard inquiries on your credit report using our process. Incurring the fewest inquiries on your report while searching for a loan is a big value that we add. Most of our partners do soft inquiries, which will not impact your credit at all! I'm glad you had a good experience with Lexington Law. As you said, they do work. If you could post your last name or e-mail me at [email protected], I'd gladly see what we can do for you!

I went online and filled out a loan request and from there I kind of forgot about it. A few days later I got a call from mariner finance. Teresa was so nice and got more info from me. BEWARE though they charge 35% even with a 630 credit score on Equifax. Which sucks but either way there is no prepayment penalty. I went in and took them the info they requested and walked out with a check. But NO need for me to go to the bank, I did an e deposit from teresa's desk and I was on my way to my next appointment. overall I needed it as bridge funding so I will use that and keep it moving.

Have to say "thank you" for caring and being so kind. Just what was needed to deal with the stress of financial difficulties.

This company's primary purpose seems to be to ask you about your "needs" so they can "match" you with lenders and then funnel you to a credit repair service in the guise of being a step toward receiving your loan (which is what you really contacted them for in the first place). After you go through the 30+ minute process of first purchasing a Transunion report for $14.95 and going through the entire report, then signing up for the monthly credit repair service, you're then told by the credit repair service to call One Loan Place back to find out about your loan. Once you call back, you're told to check your email and one of the options in the email could POSSIBLY help with getting you a loan. Of course, when you click those links and complete those applications you're back where you started. Long story short, in MY opinion, they're sole purpose seems to be funneling new leads to Lexington Law firm. This is not by any means a company to facilitate loans. This is a funneling service for Lexington Law Firm who will then sell you on a credit repair service for $119/mo.

Tracie, We are definitely not a funneling service and we're sorry you feel that way. It appears that the information that you relayed to us did not allow us to match you with any lenders due to your credit rating. Signing up for a credit repair service will not help you get approved for a loan immediately, but with a little work your scores may improve to a range where a lender may consider accepting your application. You disclosed to our representative that you have some significant issues on your report which is probably the reason you're having such difficulty. If you could potentially remove that item from your report you may have better luck getting approved, even if it's not with us.
