OilPaintings.comReviews of oilpaintings.com

When I placed an order for a hand made oil painting I had some trepidation on the final product. I’ve been on enough cruise ships to see their estate sales of oil painting and they all looked cheaply made and the frames sometimes would be plastic. I ordered a 30hx40w painting for my living room of Van Gogh’s “Branches with Almond Blossom” one of my all time favorite paintings. The order process online was easy and they have a good selection of custom frames. I went with an antique gold frame with a black beaded inlay on the inside of the frame. I was quoted a 14-16 week lead time which I was perfectly fine with considering the size (larger than original) and the detail needed on the painting and framing. I counted down the weeks and at 14-15 weeks I received an email with FedX shipping. The painting arrived in 3 days and despite FedX shipping ( box opened and kinda beat up) with multiple “fragile handle with care” stickers on box but it was well packed and protected and arrived unscathed. Removing the painting from the box was a feeling of anticipation with excitement and then to utter joy when seeing it for the first time. The painting and framing were absolutely perfection. The artist captured the colors, brush strokes perfectly and you could feel the time and commitment the artist took in completing the painting. I’ve seen the original in the Van Gogh museum and this reproduction gave me chills at how well the artist captured the original. Deciding on a frame I wanted this classic piece to have an antique looking gold frame, not a bright bold gold but a muted antique frame and the one I choose fit the painting perfectly. The painting arrived ready to hang with attached “D” rings and two OOK wall anchors which made it very easy to hang securely on my living room wall. This painting is going to end up costing me more monies since now I have to upgrade my living room furniture to live up to the standard of the painting…LOL but that’s a good problem to have. My Van Gogh “Branches with Almond Blossom” will hang proudly and anchor my home and living room for years to come. I’m already planning on future orders of at least 3-4 more oil painting from various artist to have made soon and I hope to have a long relationship with oil paintings.com If you have any concerns on ordering don’t the end results will leave you speechless. The process and lead times are long 14-16 weeks but I would be more concerned if it wasn’t, perfection takes time. Thanks again to everyone at oil paintings.com and to the artist who painted me a masterpiece! Jim Jenkins Frederick, Md

I had a special order request and the company representative was very helpful. The artist did a wonderful job on a difficult subject and I was very pleased with the results.

Recreated an absolutely massive “The fall of the damned” it is absolutely.. flooring. to everyone that sees it. it is the central object in my study / library in my home and it is a showstopper. I often read and then stand there in awe at the magnitude of the painting, there really isn’t words in the english language to explain the gravity it holds in my library. It is truly incredible. I wish i could properly thank the artist but they value their anonymity so I will not even post the signature on the painting here. Thank you.

I was guardedly optimistic that the two reproductions (Moran’s Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and Bierstadt’s Lower Falls) would be satisfactory. My expectations were greatly exceeded! Both are beautiful and faithful reproductions. I’m amazed and highly recommend this service.

Excellent communication with Customer Service Department. Quality of painting and frame was what we had hoped it would be. Very pleased we ordered from OilPainting.com.

This was our first time using oilpaintings.com. It was an excellent experience and the artist did a beautiful job bringing our photo to life. The customer service is also excellent.

I have had 4 reproductions done by Oilpaintings.com. The quality of the work is excellent. They are beautiful works of art and I always get comments from my friends and visitors admiring their beauty. The paintings, as well as the frames, are top quality. I recently ordered my fifth painting and can't wait to get it into my home.
