OilPaintings.comReviews of oilpaintings.com

I ordered four paintings done by three different original artists. Two by Francois Boucher in a custom size that came out beautifully by taking into consideration the different dimensions I asked for. I also ordered one painting by Jean-Honore Fragonard and one painting by Marguerite Gerard. I asked Lowell to make the dress colors in the two paintings as a similar color and that the carpet and cushion on the chair should have the same color scheme. All of that custom -made. All that was done perfectly! My big thank you to Lowell and the artists who made these wonderful reproductions for me. They are beautiful and I enjoy them very much. And... since my husband and I was so happy with our first order, we order four more paintings !

It is a great company to purchase oil paintings from. If you're into art like I am, or even just thinking about getting your first piece-you're in the right place. This was my first time purchasing artwork, and I was honestly a bit nervous at first. But from the moment I reached out, their customer service completely put me at ease. They were so helpful and patient, answering all my questions and even offering suggestions that I hadn’t thought of—truly rare to find that kind of service these days! I ended up ordering 12 oil paintings, and four of them were custom pieces based on photographs I provided. What I loved most was how flexible they were with customization. They let me tweak the original designs to fit exactly what I wanted, and the artists were super quick to make any last-minute changes I requested. The attention to detail in these paintings is absolutely impeccable—every brushstroke, every color, just perfect. The best part? My paintings arrived right on time. When I unboxed them, I was totally blown away. The quality is out of this world! I honestly felt like a kid in a candy store—totally amazed and thrilled with every single piece. For anyone who loves art but isn’t ready to drop a fortune on a painting, this company is a fantastic alternative. You get incredible, high-quality artwork without the hefty price tag. I highly recommend them for all your art needs—you won’t be disappointed! LT

Was a bit leery of ordering an oil painting, sight unseen, online, but the reviews convinced us to take a chance, so we ordered a medium sized one to "test" it out. Thought it would take at least four weeks and were eagerly awaiting its arrival, so we could order another "wish list" item that was much larger, if it was as good as we hoped. It showed up three weeks later, a little earlier than expected. We were a bit nervous at the final results, but once we opened the box, we were completely amazed at how fantastic the painting looked - it was nearly exactly as the original and more than met our expectations. We immediately ordered the larger painting, a 6' x 4' Albert Bierstadt landscape that wasn't listed on the website, adding a minor customization to it, and requesting the same painter. Working with Lowell on this custom order was a great experience, he was more than willing to ensure we were completely satisfied. We just received this second painting and once again, we're blown away by the quality - and the size! I would highly recommend OilPaintings.com to anyone who likes the art museum feel of real oil paintings at a great price. Two last comments: we almost never write reviews, but we're so excited about these paintings that we felt we owed it to others who are skeptical as we were to give this a try and be equally amazed; and we're preparing to order four more paintings to complete a new addition to our home.

Today I received the painting that I ordered many weeks ago. I am NOT disappointed with my purchase. As an artist, I am very pleased with the choice and the quality of this reproduction

Received my first two paintings a couple weeks ago and just purchased two more. The quality of the artwork is great - I’ll never buy prints again. The frames are also beautiful - high quality, sturdy and beautiful.

I ordered 10 paintings from oilpaintings.com and Lowell was very helpful the entire time. The paintings came out beautifully, and I love having actual oil paintings, not just prints, around the house. It makes the house feel like a home to have paintings.

Oil paintings.com is the best! The oil painting I received from them is simply beautiful and awesome. I ordered a Raja Ravi Varma, Damayanti from Ramayana painting and it just blew my mind away. The painting is as close to the original you can get. The colors and the pose of the lady captures the essence of royalty incarnate! It is simply mind blowing because the artist captured the lady so beautifully just as the original artist intended. The colors are beautiful and thanks to Lowell at OilPaintings.com I now am the proud owner of an oil painting. I also want to give a shout out to Lowell for going above and beyond for me. My shipment for this painting to my home was delivered at the wrong address by FedEx and I was so distraught having lost a work of art that cannot be replicated. Lowell was very kind and shipped me another painting at no cost to me! Lowell also took the time to talk with me throughout this process and kept his promise. He is simply one of the best I have had the good fortune of doing business with. I would buy all the paintings on offer if I had the money with my eyes closed. Thank you Lowell! I appreciate your generosity!

We are on job travel and the vendor was very accommodating to help with shipping. The painting arrived and it is beautiful. It is very much like the original and a focus point for our room.
