First time customer here. I recived my first oreder with 2 lbs of sashimi grade tuna, however the tuna was not sashimi grade. The tuna was discolored and not fresh. I won't be ordering again.

Paid premium price for what's supposed to be premium fish. -- Albacore -- Mahi Mahi -- Tuna Sashimi quality. Expensive. BUT they had blood lines. Also, one of the "chunks" of so-called sashimi quality fish was literally falling apart... each flake was falling away from the other one. The fish also smelled a tiny bit fishy, which it shouldn't. Fish comes thawed (NOT frozen). Why? Not sure. Because almost all fishing boats flash-freeze their fish. This keeps it fresh. In any case, the fish arrives completely thawed out, in poor packaging. So, even if you are there to receive it from the delivery person (which we did), it still is past its prime when you get it. Not to mention how long it's been thawed out and in-transit, as well as preparation at the main facility, etc. etc. etc. Long story short -- very disappointed. Paid over $100 for three small chunks of fish which were DEFINITE disappointments. Won't be using this vendor any longer. Plenty of other places to buy fish. OR buy a whole frozen fish (fresh off the boat!) at any number various marinas along the coast here in Cali.

The sea bass was acceptable, I’d give it 3 stars. But the scallops were AWFUL. When I tried to sauté them in butter, they let off so much water that I had to pour it off or they would have been boiling. In addition they shrank to about 1/3 of their original size. And they tasted more like cheap fish than good scallops. Zero stars. That leaves me with a 2 star review.

The 2 lbs of ahi I bought was inconsistent, some parts really good and a lot of it bad. Not a very big fan at the moment

First time buying box crabs and I had to make a couple of attempts to get my order through due to the popularity of the crabs. The lady who helped me over the phone was pretty nice and helpful. However, my wife, who picked up our order at the Orange farmers market, told me the staff at the pick up place was not too nice and had a bad attitude. I ordered 6 crabs and 2lbs of halibut. it probably was not that big of an order but good customer service goes a long way.
