OCVH is new to me and my 15 yrs & 7 month Shin Tzu . But the Vet Dr. Billy Danowich set such a friendly atmosphere that during my dog's examination he was not nervous as he usually gets at a doctors office. The Dr. was extremely gentle with the dog during the exam. His personality and demeanor was outstanding and really put me to rest and at ease. He explained different problems that can affect such an old dog . After drawing some blood he assured me that what ever the results might be that he and his staff were there for me . He was on the phone five minutes after he received the test results and even though I was prepared for the worst he assured me the dog was in great health and he could find no problems according to the blood sample. He also said that the problem is due to his age. But at the same time assuring me that He and his staff were available anytime if the need arises. Overall I must say that OCVH is by far the cleanest and friendliest hospital I ever visited. If only I was a Dog !

We have been clients of OCVH for many years. The staff, from front office personnel to technicians, nurses, and the doctors are very professional, understanding and compassionate. Several of our animals have had very serious and challenging medical conditions and the veterinarians worked tireless with us to diagnose, treat, and adjust medications for years. They are truly dedicated to their profession and run a superb practice. Our lives are better knowing that our pets can receive the best care in Ocean County, and perhaps the state.

From the friendly staff that greets you when you come in, to the vets that treat my animals like their own, OCVH is the whole package. After so many frustrating interactions with regular doctors and their office staff, it's refreshing to deal with people who really seem to want my business. They are always available and never forget that follow up phone call with information or test results. I would definitely recommend them to anybody looking for a vet.

Let's face it, no one likes to see a doctor including your pets. But all four of my pets love their vets and the staff that supports them. Their level of caring is unbeatable. They listen to what you have to say for your pet. They explain what could be happening and how they will treat it. They also understand that money is tight and will work with you on getting the best care that you can afford. I really like their pre-pay vet visit plan. It allows me to pay visit costs at a time when I have the extra money. And with FOUR pets, you never know when you may need to take one in for a visit. I also love their hours. I can pick up medicine for my one dog on a Sunday! I highly recommend each and everyone of the OCVH Vets and would not go anywhere else.

I went to them because my baby bun was sick. I had visits two days in a row. They did what they could to help my bun and me. They weren't sure what was wrong outwardly he looked fine, so bloodwork n X-rays I thought surely with a string of meds would surely happen. They know how pricey these things can get and gave me alternate ways to take care of my Bun and bring him back to health. They even called me to check up on my little guy! The vets there are amazing and loving, very friendly, as well as all if their staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! ~ Carrie Leonard & King Tut

Our cat seemed to trust the vet, she got her shots and didn't even make a sound. We were in and out in no time. I recommend this place.

I like the doctors and the staff. Clean office, and they treat my fur babies very well. The staff is thorough with answering any questions I have.

Staff is always helpful and they really take their time to make my pets feel comfortable !
