Ocean County Veterinary HospitalReviews of ocvh.com

We were able to get same day appt for a few vaccines my dogs needed for an overnight stay at a dog boarder. After giving shots and doing routine blood work they discovered one of our dogs may have contracted heart worm. We are heart broken for our adopted adult lab to learn this, but they vets office was kind, compassionate and genuinely concerned about our dogs well being. Though we are only in this area for the summers I would absolutely return to their office and reccommend them to others.

I was able to contact this office on a Sunday to submit a fecal test for unexpected boarding during vacation. The staff was lovely and very accommodating!

I have a 15 year old little dog that needed immediate care on a Saturday afternoon. My previous vet closed their office and moved too far away for us to use. I called Ocean County Veterinary Hospital and without hesitation even though they were closing for the day, they told me to bring my dog, Kookie in…..Dr. Perlman was very compassionate, thorough in her exam, listened to what I had to say and discussed my options with concern. They even waived the cost of the exam because I was a new customer and just charged me for the medications. Couldn't ask for a better experience in an upsetting time. I will not hesitate to use Dr Perlman again for all my animals.

Have been with this veterinarian for over 20 years. They have always taken great care of all my pets. Would never go anywhere else.

Took my Holland Lop, Pickles, here to get a neuter and was a little worried knowing he's an "exotic" animal, but as soon as I walked in to meet the doctor I had no worries at all. Dr. Golodik was like the bunny whisperer! He knew exactly how to handle Pickles and could answer every question I had. Even as I left the ladies at the desk were so helpful and nice! All around, my experience was wonderful and would recommend for any new rabbit owners!

I am pleased with the care and prompt attention I received when I brought my rabbit in. I thought the rabbit had fur mites but it turned out he had fleas. I was expecting a $112.00 bill for the exam and the Revolution prescription. The doctor was really nice.. and I felt better that my rabbit got good care and she gave me advice how to care for her, and my bunny is still on the mend and doing much better. The only thing that disturbed me and put me in a financial bind was that the fee came to 160 odd dollars.. and when I asked why not the $112.00 she said well the doctor took a skin graph for mites. Well I'm sure her intentions may have been good.. but if the rabbit did have mites.. that would have been taken care of with the Revolution. So I I had to borrow another 50 dollars against the money I borrowed from a couple of people to make the $112.00. I don't regret going, but I was put off with that action.

We were taken in a timely fashion. Assistant and Vet were very courteous and kind to our puppy. Vet was able to get to the root of dog's problem and resolved the issue. Not a full time resident in this particular area but when we move down permanently, we will seriously think about using Vet services.

It's a pleasure coming into the super clean & cheery office. It's so nice to be greeted & acknowledged by every member of staff encountered. I appreciate thoroughness & know how of the vet & vet tech with whom my cat, Mr. Stapuft, visited. The friendliness, cleanliness & expertise are uncompared. Thank you!
