This software makes my life so much easier. It's very easy to use, even when working with advanced features. The customer support team is extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and professional.

I used Octoparse during the free trial period to explore its potential for academic research and web-based data collection. One of the strengths I found useful is its no-code approach to web scraping. This can be particularly helpful for researchers who need to collect publicly available information from websites but do not have extensive programming or web-scraping experience. Octoparse provides a visual interface for setting up data extraction tasks, which can make the initial data collection process more accessible. I also found the ability to extract web-based information into structured data useful from a research perspective. For researchers working with online sources, this can be helpful when collecting a relatively large amount of publicly available web data for subsequent organization and analysis. Octoparse also supports different types of web pages and dynamic elements, which may be useful depending on the specific research project and website. At the same time, after trying the service, I realized that my own research needs and current workflow did not require continued use of a paid web-scraping service. Therefore, I decided not to continue with a subscription. Overall, I think Octoparse can be a useful practical tool for researchers who regularly need to collect web-based data, particularly those who prefer a no-code approach. I would recommend using the free trial period to test the tool with your own research questions and data sources first, and then deciding whether it fits your particular research needs.

Octoparse has been an excellent tool for my business research. What I like most is how easy it is to use. Unlike many other web scraping platforms that require coding knowledge or a steep learning curve, Octoparse makes the whole process simple. It feels almost like using Google Maps—you just select the data you want, click a few buttons, and let Octoparse do the work. I used it to scrape Google Maps and collected valuable business information that helped me validate my business idea and identify potential customers. It saved me a significant amount of time compared to collecting the data manually. I highly recommend Octoparse to anyone who wants an easy, point-and-click solution for web scraping without needing to learn programming. It's a great tool for entrepreneurs, researchers, and small business owners who want to gather data quickly and efficiently.

I used Octoparse for a short-term project and the tool worked perfectly to extract the data I needed. It is very efficient and well-designed. Even though I had an issue after forgetting to cancel my trial, their customer support team (especially Yina) was incredibly understanding, fair, and helpful in resolving my situation. I highly recommend them not only for the software quality but also for their human and responsive support team!

When contacting Octoparse support team always got a quick reply. I needed a custom report and they provided the required scraping tool. When having an issue with a subscription issue they solved my inquiry the next day. Thanks, excellent work!
