I stumbled upon an ad for a cool sign-up offer by Octobet, where they promised to reimburse you 50% of your losses if you lost money with their bets. Great, I thought. So, I deposited £100, looked around for a couple of days, but found nothing worth betting on (dead season, football-wise). I decided to withdraw my £100 and come back later. However, they applied a £5 withdrawal fee, which was according to their terms, of course, but still quite unusual and unexpected. I was in a similar situation with BetVictor a while ago. I deposited, then withdrew (no processing fees applied, of course), and now I'm a satisfied customer, betting with them again when I feel like it. As for Octobet, this is not a good way to earn the trust of potential customers. What else is hiding in those long T&Cs that no one reads anyway? Go figure. Just avoid them.
