I think the service is ok. I used it for 7 days and it applied to 50+ jobs for me which was convenient . However I’ve yet to receive anything back interview wise after using it. The price is a bit steep for me monthly. If it was cheaper I would continue to use it.

Hello CJ we are more than glad here that the tool has done over 50 applications for you in just 7 days. In regards to pricing we will continue our efforts to service more people so we can lower the price point. CJ please note that we can not control how fast an employer decides to interview you as this is base on skill sets, job niche, industry, and also efforts to follow back up with employers. We do suggest that you follow back up with these employers to increase odds. Also our users typically dont see an interview until 3-4 weeks of usage and steady follow up with those applications that have been submitted. If there is anything we can do to better your service please let us know!

This is exactly what they say it is
I think this tool is amazing ! I only have 2 certs and for me to get several interviews is amazing to me … I’ve read a few of the bad reviews and I can’t see those issues mainly because that there aren’t many tools out there. Not sure if I can even name them here but they aren’t as user friendly as this one and I’m subscribed to them all. This one is by far the cheapest I don’t thing $97 bucks is too high I mean a hundred bucks to simply apply for me and also tailor the resume helps a lot. I will say this is a process for those who are detailed oriented and I get it a feature where we could upload resume would help but when I chatted with support they stated that it’s best to re input they make sure the resumes are ATS complaint or something … don’t know what that means but from a simple google search a lot of apps don’t even get chosen. Plus I mean my resume did have a few typos and was not properly formatted for the job opportunities so the fact they fix this all for you and make it more visible is amazing. These are the same jobs I’ve applied for manually through my job board accounts and never got a single call back. I see they only work on indeed, Glassdoor, and LinkedIn but I mean this is killer would love to see more job boards I’ve gotten hired recently for a position that meets my hourly request so now I’ll just keep subbing to see if I can maybe go for a high salary position. $37 bucks an hour is amazing but wouldn’t hurt to work towards something paying $100k or more also haha … nonetheless this prob has a ton of errors but who cares.
Be prepared to spend about 30min on a good resume set up it’s worth it to ensure it’s correct I mean after all you are making sure this reflects the best version of your self
Give it about like 2 days before you’ll see them oncoming in
It’ll seem like it’s all coming from indeed but you’ll also get separate confirmations showing you’ve applied for jobs outside of them
You must follow up with the submitted apps like 2-3 days after they have applied for you!
I would list the bad but honestly it’s only bad if you’re just not detail oriented and want a quick fast fix but this tool does exactly what it needs and I have 3 friends testing it out now one doesn’t like it only because he just doesn’t care to spend that much time reimporting information the other two love it
Anyways … ITS AMAZING !

I used the 7 day free trial and it only…
I used the 7 day free trial and it only applied to 11 jobs for me one being the same exact position. It’s applying to a bunch of easy apply jobs that I can easily do my self. It’s a great concept because you can focus on family or even a side hustle while looking for a job but I wasn’t to impressed with the type of jobs it was applying for.
Edit: I’ll take an extra 14 days. The first few days it didn’t apply to any jobs for me and I had to contact support to fix the issue so getting an extra 14 days will give me a better feel of it. Thanks!
Response from Octaply.aiDec 31, 2023
Hello Cherbs,
We appreciate the feedback! We do currently start with the Easy Apply jobs then we work our way to the more precise applicable jobs. The 7 day trial is to simply get a feel and understanding of the product, we apply to several job boards and locations!
In regards to applying for the same exact positions we did refactor our system to do so as many coma-lined about it NOT applying to the jobs in the same positions as you can see in some reviews below. We are taking all of this information into consideration and suggest that you allow us to deliver you a 14 day trial so you can see the further benefit and value of our tool.
Thank you for your honest review!

Still not up to par for the price
I heard about this on the "Tech Is The New Black" podcast eariler this year and thought it was a promising idea to leverage AI to do job applying for you. Founder seemed genuine and passionate about his product, and the founder even offered a free trial I believe, so I logged on to their site during the podcast to see about trying it. I emailed them to ask, because the site wasn't clear on how to claim it. They said the free trial was no longer available. You had to pay $97/month to even see how it works. So I forgot about it and moved on. Then in December, they sent an email offering a 14-day trial for the holidays, which got me hyped because I had wanted to see if it could be useful.
Luckily I did not spend any $$$ to realize that their product is not up to par yet. I indicated that I was seeking a Marketing Manager role and filled out my profile accordingly. Then I noticed that it began applying for any Manager roles (Area Sales Manager, OTO Program Manager, Event Manager, Business Development Manager, etc). Not what I want at all, and it's not even in my resume. I would suggest a more "free input" style field here to allow for more specific searches, and a negative search so users can filter out roles that are not wanted during the learning process. Also you have to input all your resume data one by one - no way to upload your own resume. The software only applies to jobs posted on Indeed, so it does not appear to scan and apply to other job boards. Lastly, Cover Letter feature, specifically the use of variables, was very confusing, so I did not use it at all. I wanted my cover letter to be customized per application, especially since Octaply is all about AI, but it was not clear if the Cover Letter would do that. So I saved myself the headache in the confusing explanation on the app and went without.
Since this software is based on Indeed's API (from what I've gathered), the software creates an Indeed Account for you based on your email. It doesn't account for any follow-up that is required in the job application. I wish that would've been clearer. For example, I have received many emails that ask me to complete my application by taking an Indeed Skills test that the job requires, or other similar job requirements, before the application could be complete. Clearly, the software doesn't account for this, so if I don't do it, then these job applications aren't done. Ideally, it should connect to an existing Indeed account, or allow us to do so so that any previous Skills tests are already completed. If I'm promised 10 auto-applications per day, and 4-5 of those require a second application step, how does this save me time?
TO BE CLEAR – I am not trying to bad-mouth them. I think there is a lot of promise here and the founder was very passionate about this product, but it's clear that it still needs a lot of work to justify $97/month.
I would also suggest they keep their 14-day free trial offer going to benefit the user and get feedback faster (hopefully they do). I hope they work on some of these basic features that other negative reviews are saying as well. $97/month for this to apply to 10 or so ok/weak job matches per day is not worth it IMO. Right now, you're better off spending 10 mins a day doing "Easy Apply" on LinkedIn where you can select your job needs better.
Also disappointed to read here that their team seems to put the onus back on the user as I read negative reviews, instead of acknowledging the product's shortcoming. Would love to see them reply to this in a positive manner instead of trying to fault me for "not typing in the right prompt" or some other user failure.
If the team can iterate on these suggestions (mine and others) and improve it, this would blow every other AI-focused solution away IMO. Will wait to see if things change.

Dear Tony
We sincerely apologize for any challenges you've encountered while using our platform. Your feedback is invaluable, and we want to address some misconceptions to provide a clearer understanding of our system and its features as some of the points stated do lead to a false narrative.
1. Job Title Input and Job Categories:
Contrary to any misunderstanding, our system allows users to input their job titles during the sign-up process. In case of broad titles, the tool considers skills and salary preferences over specific positions, aiming to enhance the likelihood of finding relevant opportunities. With over 4,000 job categories available, users can precisely refine their job search. Additionally, the tutorial prompts, often overlooked, guide users to manually input specific job titles for a more tailored experience.
2. Rating System and AI Learning:
We have implemented a thumbs up and thumbs down feature to empower users in rating each job application. This feedback mechanism helps our AI system understand and improve its recommendations over time. The 7 or 14-day options are designed to gather more data, enhancing the AI's understanding and ultimately refining the job application experience, especially for those with broader job titles or limited job experience.
3. Resume Input and Accuracy:
To ensure ATC compliance and accuracy, we require users to input their resume information manually. This not only minimizes errors but also ensures that all information is up-to-date. Users appreciate this feature, recognizing the potential for typos, inaccuracies, or outdated information in their resumes. Unlike allowing resume uploads, which led to increased errors, manual input enhances accuracy and minimizes the risk of rejection due to resume issues.
4. Job Board Application Process:
Our platform applies to various job boards such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Monster, Snagajob, and Indeed. We prioritize LinkedIn and Indeed initially, given their prominence. As our user base grows, we plan to integrate additional job boards like Dice, Ladders, and many more in the next quarter, expanding the platform's reach and opportunities.
5. Cover Letters and Optional Features:
Our tutorial prompts clearly state that all information provided is templated, and cover letters are optional. While not mandatory for all jobs, the cover letter feature was introduced based on user demand. It's advised to create a universal cover letter aligned with your resume and skill sets.
6. Limited Monthly Applications and Future Features:
Presently, our system applies for 300 jobs avg. a month, and users are encouraged to follow up on submitted applications. We will soon release features like post-interview, pre-interview, post-hire, and pre-hire solutions. Applicants should check their emails for any skills or aptitude test requests and profile in-mail messages from employers.
7. Application Frequency and User Testimonials:
On average, our system applies to 10-15 jobs daily, saving time for users who find the traditional job application process time-consuming. Some users, particularly those with extensive resumes and sought-after skills, experience even higher application rates. Testimonials from hundreds of users attest to the tool's efficiency and time-saving benefits.
8. LinkedIn Easy Apply and Pricing Transparency:
We want to clarify that our platform does not utilize LinkedIn Easy Apply. Regarding the price point, we take pride in being the best-priced, user-friendly solution in the market.
Your feedback is crucial, and we appreciate your insights. We are committed to continuous improvement and value the opportunity to address any concerns transparently. If you have further questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Huge Time Saver! Would like more analytics pls!
Grateful for this service. It has saved me a ton of time by applying to jobs on my behalf. I’ve been a member for 2+ months and the service has sent out hundreds of applications for me. Unfortunately, none of those companies have responded yet for an interview. Going to keep upskilling in the meantime.
Area of feedback:
I wish there was a way to view (and verify) my information that was submitted on each application. It seems that once the application has been submitted, we have to blindly trust that Octaply filled out the resume and cover letter information correctly.
One company named StarkCarpet, emailed me a pdf of the application Octaply had submitted for me. My current address information was left blank and in response to "Are you an active employee of Stark?", the service had incorrectly responded YES. That concerned me and made me wonder how many other instances this might’ve happened that I didn’t know of. If there was a way for to view what’s been submitted, then I could verify that the correct information is being submitted every time and ensure that technical errors were not a reason why my application was not accepted.
I think it would also be helpful to view the website/platform each application was submitted to (Indeed, company website, etc).
I understand that things are still in the works, so I appreciate you guys for creating a great product and for receiving feedback on how to make it better!
Response from Octaply.aiDec 30, 2023
Hey! Yes we will take all of this into consideration, please note depending on the application type and fields some times our system may not see them but we surely will be improving this over time. In response to viewing the information submitted you can always reference to the submission email to view. I will say to increase interview odds as this is more so based on your experience and skillsets to ensure that you add as much resume value as possible!

So far, so good!
I have used this for about a week now. I put in my general resume (that has ALL my optimized bullet points) that I was using to tailor every one of my resumes. This just streamlined my applying process. I do wish it sourced more than Indeed, but still hopeful I will get at least an interview out of it!
Response from Octaply.aiDec 25, 2023
Krista! So we do actually grab jobs from Indeed, Glassdoor, and Linkedin soon we will have other job boards to maximize potential!

It works great
It works great! My only wish is that you could upload a resume that’s already made as opposed to creating their own pdf. The jobs it applies to aren’t always perfect when it comes to location or role, but overall very good.
Response from Octaply.aiDec 25, 2023
Hey Derek! We only request that users manually enter in their data to ensure an optimal experience so there are no delays to user or data error. We also ensure that our resumes are ATS compliance at 76% of applicants are not visible due to this and lastly we will take this feed back to better improve the job applications that our system applies for!
