I was very nervous about traveling to Africa, but I am so grateful my husband pushed me out of my comfort zone. This was truly the most amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience! Honestly, I don’t think I ever would have taken this trip on my own, but traveling with a group made all the difference. OAT (Overseas Adventure Travel) lived up to everything I had heard and read about. From the organization and planning to the itinerary and support, everything was incredibly well done. Our tour leader, Innocent, was absolutely amazing. He was knowledgeable, professional, kind, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire journey. I had never traveled with a tour group before, and I was initially unsure about what to expect. Once I met our group and Innocent, I immediately felt safe and secure, even while traveling in a foreign country. If you are looking for a travel company that is well organized, thoughtfully planned, and provides a wonderful group experience, I highly recommend OAT! And if you are considering Kenya and Tanzania, I highly recommend Innocent as your trip leader. Hands down, he was the best! 🦁🌍❤️

Our trip leader, Taha Abderrahman, made the experience great! He was very well informed. The knowledge he shared with us covered all conceivable aspects of Moroccan history and society.

My wife and I have traveled with OAT a number of times, as well as Tauck, Globus, Viking, National Geographic and others. OAT has consistently had great tour leaders and itineraries; and small group size is wonderful. The cultural immersion experiences (e.g., home visits) and controversial subject discussions have also been excellent. Pricing is very reasonable. Our only reservations are that while staying in local-style lodging is great from a cultural immersion standpoint, it sometimes leads to less than great accommodations; and the itineraries tend to be on the long side.

My wife and I just completed our 5th adventure with GCCL- OATS with a pre and post trip with Western Italy for a total of 25 days. We had a wonderful experience and our two group leaders, one on the pre-trip, Giulia and Albert, who accompanied us with the remainder of the trip. Both were very accommodating and very knowledgeable with the areas we visited. Our accommodations on the ship was very nice with the crew and staff making us very welcome everyday. The hotel accommodations were good as each place had a/c however, a couple times our rooms did not have walk in showers. Having to climb in narrow tubs with faucet hardware obstructions and no grab bars were a little challenging, but otherwise the rooms were fine.

I just returned from Untamed Iceland and highly recommend this trip. OAT provided an excellent itinerary and outstanding trip leader to explore this uniquely beautiful country.

I just returned from the Alps, Dolomites and Lombardy (9/3-9/18/26). This was a replacement trip for an Africa trip i Had previously scheduled. I changed that trip due to the Ebola problem in the Congo. I don't want to sound crazy, but I'm never as interested in Europe as I am Africa and Asia. So I was hesitant to schedule this trip to Italy. I chose the Alps and the Dolomites because I love the mountains. It turned out to be a wonderful trip. This was my 3rd Trip with OAT. The trip leaders have been wonderful and this trip was no exception. Our leader, Danieli, was so great. He was very knowledgeable in regard to the history of the area. I particularly loved all the WW1 and WW2 history. It was very interesting. Danieli was also very funny. He took care of all of our needs with a smile on his face. Our optional tours, our home hosted meal, A day in the Life were great experiences. Those events are some of the reasons I love OAT travel so much. The location was absolutely beautiful. I'm glad I went. I will continue to travel with this company as long as I continue to have these marvelous experiences.

I highly recommend the OAT Morocco Sahara Odyssey adventure. Recently returned from the trip filled with amazing sites, cultural experiences, nice travelers, and expert guides. Wahid was wonderful! Overall, excellent travel experience in a country abound with a rich history.
