Deceptive and Misleading Subscription Practices
I feel completely misled by Open. I signed up thinking I was just trying out a one time offer, but they hid the fact that it was a recurring subscription. My initial payment was around $25, and then without clear notice they charged me $150 for an annual renewal. I never even used their services, yet I lost a dispute with my credit card company and was forced to keep a subscription I did not want. The way their sign up page is presented makes it seem like you are doing a trial or short term plan, but in reality you are locked into an auto renewing membership that is difficult to cancel. I went into my account and saw my credit card information stored even after cancellation, which makes me even more uncomfortable. I have no trust in this company and I do not recommend anyone sign up. The pricing structure and lack of transparency are deceptive. This feels like a trap for customers rather than an honest service.
