I have been using Thyrogard for over 2 years and took a break for a year. After about 6 months of using it, I was able to lower the dosage of my prescribed tablets (thyroxine) from 150mcg to 75mcg over another 6 months period. I am not suggesting that this will be the case for everyone, just that it was so for myself. I started taking Thyrogard because I wanted something a bit more natural that Thyroxine.
