I ordered the Emile Folle portrait kit. Initiall I was hopeful that the skin detail would be good because it has so many divisions. This was not the case. I started with the face, and the colors as indicated are very poorly matched to the original artwork. The shadows are too dark, and the eyes are barely discernible. I am somewhat disappointed, but after trying a few producers of these kits, I find it is a constant problem. If are not familar with the artist you may not notice. I am familiar. I do notice

My paint by number canvas came folded and then wrapped around a soft tube. So it had creases that were very difficult to get out, but with ironing and stretching the canvas, its now "acceptable". The paints are partially dried out and more of a gel than an acrylic paint. I have to push the paint on the canvas if that makes sense. Thankfully I do have good quality paints left over from other paint by number projects (from another company) which I will have to use. I will NOT be purchasing from this company again.

got delivered, but the picture to paint (they provided exact match with canvas outline in the set) doesn't look like picture on the website. I got girl on the plane, but the canvas has no gradual colour edges - just chunks of colors to paint which doens't look good - and also plane is very difficult to distinguish on that painting. I was so excited and honestly, expected it not to be exactly same, but not sooooo bad. Disappointing :(

Did not receive order for 60+ days due to lost parcel issue. Order received after I contacted the delivery/customs intermediary. The correct number of paints, plus extra of a couple of the colours, along with 3 brushes, image of painting, and the PBN canvas were included in the delivery. The colours of the painting I ordered do not match the colours of what was delivered to me. Online the image is bright, vibrant colours. The order I received is a much much darker, muted version of the image. It is so different that I would call it false advertising. I would not order from numeral paint again due to this - I would be worried about what I would get versus what they advertised online!

Order placed February 6; shipped February 9 th; delivered March 9 th. Rolled up, not in box large canvas very tiny numbers cannot read them look like dots will have to just paint as I please I was very frustrated that tracking numbers did not work until 4 days prior to delivery shipped from China to Ontario Canada.

Colors were all wrong!! I decided not to complete the painting because it was supposed to be a gift but it was going to look very, very different from the photo. The yellow Labrador retriever in the picture was going to be orange as were the formerly red balls on the Christmas tree. The blue walls were going to end up gold and cream and gray. This company did not offer me a refund or any other compensation for their error. I reordered instead from a company in the USA and will have to wait 6-8 weeks for a new canvas.

This is my 3rd painting-by-numbers kit and I thought I should write what I found. It arrived on time so I had no issues although there was limited communications. However, the canvas is poor quality and does not stay flat when painting. The printing of the canvas leaves the numbers over the lines or, indeed, gaps without numbers which results in you having to ensure you know what number it is prior to painting near it. The lines on the canvas are too thick resulting in overlaps. Fortunately I took pictures prior to starting but if I hadn't then I would be lost and guessing. I recommend anyone who buys a kit does the same. The paints are very poor quality too and result in you having to overpaint several times (could be described as opaque) to hide the lines and the numbers. I have now gone through three brushes as the canvas and the paints have frayed them and I am nowhere near finished. I would not unfortunately recommend this kit at this time and hope they read this review to consider improving on these areas. I hope this is received constructively as was intended. This review was done in October 2020 and I received an email from the company this morning (16 Oct 2025) asking that I amend this and they will give me a full credit. Lets see how long that takes prior to amending this review shall we! By way of an update I received a credit today (11 November 2025) with a further request to remove my review above. I am struggling in all conscience to do so, if I am honest, as the initial review was a factual account of the quality of the canvas and paints received and also for the following reasons: (a) My review of 2020 is possibly still valid - I don't know if they have changed anything as I have not used them since (b) it took the company (NumeralPaint.com) 5 YEARS to become aware that reviews matter and assuming that is the case, to make contact. I never meant the review to be anything other than an honest account of my experience so, take it or leave it, it is up to you and ignore if your experience if different which I very much hope it is.

As of right now they only get a 2 and that’s being nice!! I ordered my pbn on June 1st and here we are on August 5th and my tracker says it’s just left China 🤦🏻‍♀️. Ridiculous! On site it says USA will take up to 20 days w covid going on, try OVER 2.5 months and still waiting.... go with a different site and check reviews before ordering!
