Cool but questionable? I am not able to report when I am the passenger in the vehicle instead of the driver. There should be a way to log that somewhere. Also, this app is checking my location more times than it is connected to my car. The price is right but I hate lack of privacy. Don't know if it's for me.

A bit sensitive on brakes and acceleration, but in general is ok. Price is good, speed is not my issue, so I guess is worth to try it. Now I pay 47% as I paid with previous company

The only problem I had was you quoted me a price of &92.00 something then it said $126.67 now it says next month $131.67 so it went up from what it said originally before purchase then went up again before the next month so I am confused

When I was purchasing my insurance policy, the website gave me the price for the first month's payment and also indicated what my next monthly payment would be. I then downloaded the app and next month's payment was $5 higher than what the website said it would be. I contacted customer service via chat, Tasha was nice and helpful, but she indicated that Novo charges a $5 "processing" fee with every payment. I looked over the paperwork before buying the policy and didn't see that mentioned anywhere. I feel it's somewhat dishonest to say "here is what you'll be paying next month" and not have it be accurate, especially since they obviously know they'll be charging a $5 fee for each installment paid. Again, I didn't see the $5 fee mentioned anywhere. I think it's odd that they have a processing fee on the monthly payments anyway but for it to be added on in a sneaky way like that seems incredibly shady and is definitely making me second-guess and feel much less comfortable using Novo for car insurance.

Hi there. Thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback and voicing your concerns. We would like to clarify the situation regarding the $5 processing fee for installment payments. First, we want to assure you that the $5 processing fee is a standard practice within the insurance industry, and it is not unique to Novo. Many insurance carriers apply this fee to your monthly bill as part of their payment processing procedures. While we understand your concern about transparency, we aim to be as upfront as possible about this fee to ensure our customers are aware of it. However, it seems there might have been some confusion in your case, and for that, we apologize. We take your feedback seriously, and our team is continuously working to improve our communication and transparency with our valued policyholders. Thanks again for sharing!
