I took a change and bought this mattress protector even though I thought it was very pricey. Well, you get what you pay for. It is excellent quality. Previously I had bought a cheap cover and it squeaked/crinkled/made noises every time my son moved in bed, and did not hold up well in the wash. This NorthShore mattress cover is so soft and like a sheet is completely silent. Fits perfectly. Very good quality. I have only washed it once but reading other reviews this should not be a problem - I'm hoping it will hold up well and last a long time. Worth every penny! No regrets spending the extra moola.
