North Car RentalsReviews of northcarrentals.com

No tienen oficina.

I had the most unpleasant experience with this company. I made a booking that I wanted to extend but it wasn’t possible so I canceled it to proceed with another company. When I booked, the confirmation email clearly stated that “free cancellation with a refund is applicable up to 72h before pickup date and time”. I canceled over a week before and now they are telling me that as per their terms the booking is unrefundable and this is after weeks of following up with them. Moreover, in the process I learned that the company handling the reservation is not the same company we pay when we book on their website. And they don’t handle customer service nor transactions. So it’s a company based elsewhere that does. I would highly recommend that you do not make any booking with them.

WARNING: These people are extremely unpleasant! They withhold deposits without providing any information whatsoever. Enquiries are ignored. Video evidence taken before collection and on return counts for nothing with these people! NEVER AGAIN! Avoid this company at all costs!

I booked a car through DiscoverCars with NorthCar Rental in Nador. Upon arrival at Nador Airport, I was informed that I could not collect the vehicle without paying a security deposit and that my Mastercard debit card was not accepted for the deposit, despite the rental agreement clearly stating that this card type was accepted. After speaking with other car rental companies at the airport, I was told that this is unfortunately a common practice used to charge customers additional costs. As a result, I was forced to rent another car at very short notice, even though I had already paid for the original vehicle in advance. The alternative rental was significantly more expensive, which caused me considerable financial loss and unnecessary stress during my trip. I strongly advise future customers to carefully review the rental conditions and to be cautious when booking with this rental company, as my experience was neither transparent nor satisfactory.
