I am new to the fresh food option for dogs, and this is the second company I've tried. We're in month 2 and while I expect there to be some variation, I'm seeing less pork and much more potatoes than during the first order. I've previously tried Dr Marty, seemed to be equal quality, but more expensive. So, on to Ollie. They list the most customers on one comparative website. I do like the fresh food idea, my dog is almost always enthusiastic...until recently with a plateful of potatoes, he leaves on the plate. If I'm willing to pay more, I expect it to look like something I would eat. Lynn, for Frank

Hi Lynn. That you for taking the time to leave a note on your experience with us. Our pork recipe includes more ground pork than potatoes (by weight). Then after being gently cooked, the pork and the potatoes weigh nearly the same (the pork still weighs slightly more than the potatoes). As you'd expect, the potatoes will swell as they absorb the moisture from the surrounding fresh ingredients. The ground meat will cook down; so 25 grams of gently cooked beef looks to be much less than 25 grams of gently cooked potatoes. Each ingredient is prepared at the temperature required to ensure the nutrients are maintained. Please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected], if you have any questions. We are always happy to help.
