This is the first time I contacted Nolo by phone, although I've used their services before. Besides the absolutely best business services available to small businesses; the technical support is also the best. The ownership appears to take great care of the staff, because technical support is very helpful and I never felt like they were talking down to me. In fact, I could feel the smile through the voice. I believe the name of my technical support person is Nate. My hat is off to you Sir Nate! For your information, my call was regarding the "Create your own Employee Handbook". In less than a week I was able to officially have my company incorporated as a Domestic Limited Liability Company. And for those who don't have a Registering Agent they are associated with an awesome company Corporation Service Company (I know the name sounds suspect but they've been doing this for literally over a century (since 1899). They even fill out the SS4 form (Application for Employer Identification Number) so you can mail it, but I'm likely going to do it online next week on the irs.gov site. It is still good to have though in case the government shut downs or less dramatically their site just isn't working. Ok lastly the 3 things that are the MOST helpful about this site (and I know because I compared Trademarkia and LegalZoom by physically filling out and starting the process) are (1) Each question was accompanied by detail information about what you were answering and suggestions to help you get to the next question with ease (2) the price was UNDER $400 for their premium package (this of course could change in the future so don't hold them to this forever). (3) I received a professional gold engraved business ledger/binder complete with company stamp that uses the same device as a notary public uses and has EXTENSIVE details about the next steps as well as the ongoing steps needed to keep your LLC official. So yeah I was HIGHLY impressed. And I am greatly satisfied. Thank you!

I've used Nolo extensively for a variety of law issues. Although I have my own templates, or can access them on more sophisticated law sites, I like Nolo's layout and simple step access. The only thing I've stumbled a bit with is that one must complete ALL 'blank' spaces, regardless of whether blanks are relevant to my specific case. I don't know if there is a remedy for this, but I'd love to be able to strike a line if irrelevant to what I need, if non-applicable. Otherwise, excellent. Even this is easy to work around. I can put N/A in blanks. Thanks for your continued, important community service!
