Mark, We reached out to you via Trustpilot to gather your account details and review the logs, but did not receive a response. Free Dynamic DNS Hostnames must be confirmed after 30 days or they will expire, be removed from DNS and put into Redemption. This policy helps keep our network free of unused Hostnames. This process also helps protect you as the owner of the Hostname, by providing a final period of retrieval before the Hostname returns to general availability, where you or someone else can claim the Hostname as their own. In order to operate this popular free service used by millions, we do currently need these processes in place to operate our expansive DNS network. Geroge, We recently reworked our pricing for Enhanced Dynamic DNS to be more customer friendly. There seems to be some confusion here, because in the example you provided, pricing actually was decreased. Previously, Enhanced Dynamic DNS was sold for 24.95/yr. The new plans start at 1.99/mo or 19.99/yr for one hostname. Why did we make this change? We recieved feedback from many customers that want monthly pricing options with smaller hostname plans. This change benefited that vast majority of our customers that have a single hostname.
