This company is a scam. They have unreputable business practices, will bate and switch and hold your belongings hostage for additional money. They will damage items and not pay the insurance claim. They pushed items off the back of a large truck causing damage when it impacted the ground. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

I am writing a complaint regarding extortion, theft, deceptive pricing, poor communication, unreasonable fees, and unprofessional handling of my contract by NO BORDERS MOVING. I was originally quoted by Howards Van lines $4,800 for my 4 bedroom home move and was repeatedly told that I would not be charged unexpected additional fees. However, once the movers arrived, No Borders Moving a subcontractor which was never disclosed to me, changed the contract and added additional charges, increasing my total to over $14k. The movers left my residence with 2/3 of my household goods (an unfinished pick up), $8,100 of my money collectively and without clearly informing me where my items were going or when delivery would occur. No one contacted me with delivery details until the following morning.The next morning, I received a call stating Lorenzo truck was stranded at the storage unit. (Storage unit????) and then never returned to finish my move. Natalia, his wife called right after i got off the phone with him later and said they needed $5k to finish the job, at which point we decided to cancel. His wife, Natalia stated our property was now their property and they owned it. We asked them to return our goods before we involved our attorney team. My attorneys inundated them with demand letters, notices of federal and state statute violations for operating with a NOT AUTHORIZED DOT license. WHICH MAKES EVERY CONTRACT THEY HAVE MADE NULL AND VOID. If they ask you for money and hold your goods hostage they are stealing and exporting you to which are both Felonies!!!! I was never allowed to document the value before packaging/loading nor was I given an itemized list of my Household Goods Lorenzo took in the 26 foot truck. The docusign is pregenerated and filled out with the lowest valuation coverage selected not allowing the higher value (option 1) to be selected as a bonfire and legal company would allow and deem reasonably appropriate for their clients. Unfortunately the CEO, Lorenzo Altuzarra, and his wife, Natalia, do not operate in good faith to possible empathize with the millions of dollars collectively they have caused their clients. I, too, filed an FMCSA complaint, DOT complaint, a DOJ complaint, an Attorney General complaint in the state of VA, negative Google and yelp reviews, and filed a Fraud and scam case with the federal government. He has yet to return my items and I am a combat veterans with 24 years in service and he attempted to extort me for $20k!! I am in the middle of a PCS abd he has yet to disclose the location of where he is illegally holding my goods. All i want are my goods, no storage fees, no further extortion attemps, and my goods undamaged. It may be a long shot but the many BBB complaints, my attorney team has proceeded to prepare for active civil litigation and joing the criminal matters with the Attorney General of my state along with the seven other different states currently investigating and preparing for criminal charges.

If I could, I would give them 0 stars They are not honest about the arrival time and they want to charge you extra fees at the time of delivery.

If I could leave zero stars I would. 3 of 4 dressers ripped apart, my antique chair that is solid wood - leg snapped in half. All my mirrors and framed art work- broken. The boxes looked like they had been thrown around. My African pottery- broken. Not only that but it took over a month to get our stuff delivered after giving them the new address and they told us 7-21 days. Still dealing with claims for our broken thing. And they price gouge for more money for anything they can

I only put one star because I cannot put nothing! this company is a nightmare! they charged me $5000 dollars for less than a 10x10 storage unit. I'm contacting a class action lawyer to sue!

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Absolutely awful company that I will never recommend to ANYONE. Took my stuff on July 15 and I didn’t see it until September 3rd. We called every day and they wouldn’t answer or would promise us a call back and not follow through. PS they hide in the contract that they are allowed to keep your stuff in storage for over 30 days. This is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Across everything. No question. Would give negative starts if I could.

Terrible experience. We paid $6,000 upfront for a move from NY to FL with another $2,000 due at delivery. They kept changing the delivery dates on us.They put our belongings in storage without our consent and even threatened to auction our things when we refused to pay the balance before delivery. Staff have been rude and unhelpful throughout. We have filed complaints with the FMCSA and BBB. Be very cautious before using this company.

These guys are thieves; if I could give a zero star, I would have. They kept my stuff in their warehouse for almost a month just to deliver it all in broken condition, and also a couple of my suitcases containing valuable items are missing. When I tried to call and talk to them, they said the f-word to me when I asked about the claim form. I paid money just to get trash delivered, and I waited for a month and a half. Since they delivered everything, they haven't contacted me and even said they were sorry and they tried to offer me 300 USD, which I of course denied. Don't ever try to use their services. I got recontracted to them by some other company, which is their only argument about what happened. I haven't received any proper compensation offers, apology, or anything else. They are mean, irresponsible, and they literally traumatized me with their approach.
