When I sat in on a local class for Slice Squad I didn’t know what to expect. I had been following Nicki Wildflower for years. What I noticed was stylists that were already part of the program had a tribe feeling—like in a good way. You could feel something was going to happen. The chemistry was buzzing. At the class another local salon owner and current consultant client with SSC told me to just do it. Do it and it’s life changing…and so we did. Our business had hit a wall when we decided to take the leap and signed on. We were successful, but it wasn’t at its true potential. Insert Stephanie—she is our amazing consultant. She has come up with some creative ideas we have implemented. We feel really supported by her and all the slice squad consultants. We get multiple weekly checkins that help keep us accountable. When making really scary and hard changes she was there to assure us it will be ok. Growth is hard and painful sometimes. Oh man, did we feel that! It takes WORK and a lot of commitment. Sometimes you don’t have the time to do the work, but you just do. You have to work ON your business and not always IN your business. I highly recommend—but be prepared to do the WORK. Your personal and professional life will be better for it.
