Ck my credit history u dummies for the last several yrs since my forced bankruptcy

We started Nibbles after one of us got a vet bill that turned a scary night into an impossible choice. The diagnosis was hard enough. Deciding whether we could afford the care made it worse. We knew that moment was not rare. Most pet families have lived a version of it, or are dreading the day they will. So we built the thing we wished we had: a card that helps with the cost of care before the emergency, not a stack of paperwork after it. Pets are family. No one should have to choose between their pet and their budget. Apply today

I created a Claim since November last year and is January and no update. The only way to contact Customer Service is by email but nobody answer.

I’m sharing this review to help other consumers be aware of a procedural issue I experienced with Nibbles’ application process. My Nibbles Card application was declined solely because my TransUnion credit file was temporarily frozen for security reasons. This was not a credit-based denial. Once I was notified, I immediately unfroze my credit so the application could be properly reviewed. However, despite resolving the issue right away and having excellent credit, I was then told I am barred from reapplying for 30 days due to an internal policy — even though the original reason for the decline no longer exists. For context, my credit profile is strong: • FICO score in the high 700s • Low overall utilization (~5%) • Excellent payment history • Stable, high income This felt punitive and unreasonable, as the lockout was not related to risk or creditworthiness, but rather a technical security measure that I corrected immediately. Preventing a consumer from reapplying after fixing the issue does not seem fair or consumer-friendly. I reached out seeking a manual review or waiver of the waiting period, but the process has been frustrating and slow. This is especially concerning when financing is time-sensitive (in my case, related to necessary medical care for my service dog). I’m hopeful Nibbles will improve this policy, because barring qualified applicants for 30 days due to a frozen credit file — even after it’s unfrozen — is something consumers should be aware of before applying. I’m leaving this review in good faith so others can make an informed decision and avoid unnecessary delays.

One of my pups injured one of the nails on her front paw on a Saturday. We applied first aid and watched it. On Sunday morning the nail was inflamed and weeping. Dog was walking on 3 legs. We took the pup to an urgent care vet and got treatment. It was great that the claims process was somewhat automated by using the card. Within a couple of days they declined the claim. I understand that outpatient meds are not covered under my plan, but they denied the office visit fee. The website clearly states that emergency vet treatments are covered. The most frustrating part of this is that they don't have customer support number to call and discuss the matter, email is the only option. This makes managing these types of challenges exceptionally frustrating. I sent a message to the support center asking to speak to a rep and asked to receive a full explanation of my benefits. No answer yet. I may be speaking too soon but unfortunately I feel like this may be a too good to be true product. I'd certainly pay a little more to speak with a rep under these circumstances, rather than the frustration of email after email.

I tried to sign up for a credit card and the free 1 yr insurance for my service dog was rejected never said why. But! Their email sent to me said Free 1 yr pet insurance and they have no phone number to call them or address and the bank that they are associated with has none too ! Is this a scam? Very poor way of doing business ! Mr.J. Bernsweig

Hi Ralph, We appreciate your interest in our credit card and are sorry to hear that your dog did not qualify for the free insurance. While it is our mission to make pet insurance more affordable and accessible to every pet out there, the free insurance for one pet is subject to eligibility requirements. These eligibility requirements are based on a pet's gender, breed, age, location, among other factors. We wish we could give free pet insurance to every single animal out there but that unfortunately is not financially feasible. Our banking partner is Lead Bank. We both have customer support services available either over email or phone but for the Nibbles credit card, it is recommended that you go through us directly. If you would like to reach out to us directly, you can do so by sending us an email at [email protected] or filling out the form on our Contact Us page.

In all honesty I thought this would work out. I applied. I was approved. It wasn’t my name associated with the card. I notified nibbles. They wanted a copy of my DL. I sent it to them. No word. Oh well. I have care credit for my dog.

I am so sorry for the trouble and the long wait you experienced with your card application. That sounds incredibly frustrating, and we apologize for the inconvenience. I looked into your case and I'm happy to see that our team member, Cassandra, had already resolved the issue and got you squared away with a new card with the correct name! As a thank you for your patience and for the trouble this caused, she also added 2,500 rewards points to your account. We appreciate you being a part of the Nibbles family, and we're here if you need anything else.
