Absolutely horrific and ridiculous. An entire month wasted for a simple refi of a heloc. Days without responding. Misinterpreted documents. The same documents repeatedly. Misinterpreted my 1st mortgage as a lien that requires payoff. Did not understand mortgage positions. Could not answer simple questions. Did not understand what a pace loan was. Asked repeatedly for documents that had been uploaded multiple times. It seems like it's driven by broken software that requires overview. However, those in charge of manual review, have no idea what they are doing, looking at, or understanding of a mortgage process.

As a licensed loan officer, I have worked with many lenders, and unfortunately, my experience with this company has been disappointing. The process does not compare favorably to other lenders in the industry. The account executive assigned to my file appeared to have limited knowledge of the process, and the support team often took several days to respond to even basic inquiries. Additionally, the loan was initially approved, yet additional documentation continued to be requested as we approached closing. If the approval is still conditional, it should be communicated as such rather than presented as a final approval. Overall, the lack of timely communication, inconsistent expectations, and inefficient process made this a frustrating experience. Based on my experience, I can understand why many clients have expressed dissatisfaction with the company's service.

Update: Aug. 19th, 2026: The multiple calls a day on lending keep happening and, it is maddening. I will update this everyday with the numbers. I am being SPAMMED daily almost 3x.day from last March 2025 and, it will NOT stop. I have done most everything to help lessen the SPAM but, it is not working. My next step is the court room. Here are the numbers that I am being spammed: 1-888-966-5434 - 3x each day. 1-844-927-5741 - every day for over 1 year 1-717-730-1437 - same format as the above. 3x/day for a year 1-866-499-7416 - everyday / same company 1-877-319-5736 - same as above This is ONLY Some of the numbers and the only lending company was Nftydoor.com who is also in partnership with TRUSS financial. THIS MUST STOP OF I WILL FILE A MOTION

Do not recommend. Zero customer service. Ancient technology. Committed to a funding date that they did not fund on. Worst experience by far. I will never use them again.

I ended up getting a HELOC through them, but it was a really painful experience. The only way to communicate is via live chat, and the agents are dismissive and not responsive. And then when things got tough, they just ignored me. Definitely wouldn't recommend this service and won't be using it again. I used it through Neighborhood Loans, who white-labels the HELOC service to their customers.

NYFTY door is an absolute joke. Their technology is horrible. After uploading Income verification 6 DIFFERENT Times through their task links and then submitting by attachment via live agent chat.... they Still say they can't verify. Also using plaid to try and connect it says the names do not match because they used my full middle name on the application but the bank has just the middle initial so it kicks it out and their is no way for you to go in and change it. ABSOLUTELY horrible..t dealing with thei ineptness in technology

My mtg company suggested I contact these folks for a HEL. I did and soon as they got my information my life became a turmile. Day one over 300 phone calls from financial businesses, calls continued for weeks over a thousand calls, emails and texts. They say they didn't give my information out. But no one else had my information at that time.

Could not be more frustrating! I gave them all my information and they wanted to connect digitally to my bank account. I did that, and Chase bank showed the connection but they said that they could never connect. So I started to question the legitimacy of NFTY Door. I couldn't get any answers other than they couldn't connect. So, I tried a second time with them and then they kept saying my credit file was frozen, which it was not! After a huge amount of frustration trying to get in touch with someone at Experian, I finally got a person. They told me that my credit file was not frozen and that the vendor has a connection problem. They gave me a number to give to NFTY Door so that they could call and correct the problem. NFTY Door kept saying that I needed to contact Experian. A great lender if you love beating your head against the wall!
