I was recently informed that my timeshare was cancelled after a rather long process. I was told the reason was because of a processing wait in Hawaii. So my overall response is favorable, with reservations. The agents returned calls within a reasonable time, and were courteous.

We are still in our exit process but so far all has been smooth. They keep me informed where we are. It's only been about 3 months and we are almost at a close. They are very respectful of my time with the phone calls. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants out of their time share.

Newton Group told us up front what they could do to help us, how much it would cost and the time it may take. Everything they said was true and they helped far better than any other company we talked to. I highly recommend them to help you through any problem you may have.

Transfer of Timeshare
It was costly but took only ~ 6 months. It was nice to let someone else take the responsibility for getting out of our timeshare. It was nice to ignore all communications from the timeshare company. Newton was always responsive and kept us informed of the status of our transfer.

We started the process with Newton in April, and the exit was completed in December. Newton kept in touch during the process, and we appreciated the updates. It was difficult to contact them and this is my only complaint. We are grateful to be free of our fees from the Marriott.

Happy to be released from my timeshare
I am so THANKFUL to be out of my timeshare!! I'm sure we all share the same problem. Maint fees kept rising, our kids would be burdened with it after we are gone, can't use it, can't get out of it.
I was hesitant at first about the Newton Group until I read all the reviews. After going to the initial seminar I was afraid I was paying all this money and it may never get me out of this.
It took a very long time, 9 months, but they said it could take that long so I knew it up front. They told me if it was not done by the time my maint fees became due, I would not have to pay them. I got the notice of the maint fees being due and panicked but The Newton Group paid them as promised. I figure with what I paid the Newton Group to free me of my timeshare, it would pay for itself in a couple years.
I do have a complaint. I never received the final documents and had to inquire to get them, although they said they had been sent. I had to have the Power of Attorney notarized a second time because of attorney changes or something. Whenever the Newton Group called me, they could not provide any information except they were working on it. At least they called to update me but whenever I tried to call them back after they left a message, I never got a live person, ever.
But like everyone else that wrote a review, so thankful to be out of this timeshare I thought I would be trapped in forever. You can't even give it away. Ugh
So yes, I would suggest using this company but be patient. It takes a long time.

Our Timeshare Exit Experience
When we were invited to attend the Newton Group Timeshare Seminar we were skeptical as we had been scammed before trying to rid ourselves of our timeshare albatross. The seminar was precise, informative and to the point. We opted to utilize their services. Our main concern was the cost of these services. We paid almost as much to get rid of our timeshare as we did for the timeshare itself. Everything went quite smoothly, with a few minor hangups nothing serious and Newton Group helped through it all. In no time we were free of our timeshare. The fee was set forth from the beginning and we agreed to it. Though prior investigation we had read about the horrors of dealing directly with the timeshare companies. And the Newton Group's information was similar. But in the end, for us at least, it appeared to be just a matter of requesting the give-back of our timeshare, $100 fee and quitting ourselves of any future association with this timeshare.
