We contacted Newton Group 3/2020 and signed a contract with them. They let us know it is a process that can take time. We were thrilled when on 6/3/20 we got a call that there was a buyer and paperwork was being processed and would be sent to us to sign. We got the paperwork and got it signed and notarized and mailed it back 6/13/20. We waited and called 7/20/20 and we informed that the paperwork had been sent to the buyer and that we are now waiting for them to process it. We kept in touch with Newton Group and they kept us informed but all we could do at this point was wait for the buyer to finalize. Newton Group contacted the buyer a few times and were told it was in the final stages at the resort. Today 11/25/20. Newton Group called to say it had been finalized and we will be receiving a letter in about a week confirming the sell. So it took 8 months (have been told this was pretty quick especially that this all took place just as the COVID pandemic started and we had been warned it would take some time). The Newton Group staff was professional and kept us as informed as they could. It wasn’t cheap or fast but we are happy that us and our heirs don’t have to worry about a monthly timeshare fee!!!

Even during the pandemic I was kept updated and informed. Anytime I called the lawyers at DC Capitol, I got a quick response. Working with the Newton Group was easy and stress free. I would recommend this group to anyone needing to get out from under a timeshare.

Newton Group presented information that made it easy to make an informed decision. From the first interview until the close of the process, they were professional, patient, and honored their word. I was relieved when it was over and was thankful for knowledgeable guidance by my team members.

I was very pleased with the Newton Group. They were always up front on what my expectations should be and never gave me false promises. The whole process took about 11 months but the length of time was certainly partly due to COVID 19. I spoke with several different members but Gabby was the one person I spoke with the most. All of the Newton members were patient with me and demonstrated their concern by calling in for regular follow ups. I would certainly recommend Newton Group.

I will write a review when I receive confirmation that the Time-Share in question is absolutely, legally and permanently cancelled with no reprocussions from the Villa in Cancun. After 6 yrs. of tolerating their negligence, poor business practices and verbal abuse, I can hardly believe they agreed to a resolution in 4-5 months. Awesome! Patricia Barder
