Not sure what you get for $5000. Unless you want to pay more for a broker they send you to DCLaw. DCLaw is a joke to deal with. The first lawyer assigned left the firm and no one had the courtesy to call or let me know why my emails went unanswered for over 4 months. Ended up having to pay for my own lawyer to review documents. $5000 can buy you a lot of legal time. Do it on your own; don't listen to them say you can't because they do nothing for you

Having hired NGT to get out of my timeshare in march 2023, I based my decision on that by the good reviews online. However, that has not been the experience I have received. Customer service is terrible, in the top 5 worst I've experinced. Calls, voicemails, and emails are usually unanswered. Conflicting info from person to person when/if they call you back, definatly has not been any updates on status as they claim to do. In fact, the ONLY way I knew anything about my timeshare was a jump in my credit score and a message saying it's been pd in full. That was a month ago. Still nothing from NGT, or their "legal team" at DC Capital Law (that's a whole nother situation). Not satisfied with the process, nor the service, none of this has been ANYTHING even close to resembling the words in their own mission statement! Definatly not worth the money.. I had started this process on my own before hiring NGT, not sure they even had a part in my cancellation...but I'm sure there won't be any type of refund .

We're pleased to inform you that your timeshare has been successfully removed from your name. The legal team at DC Capital Law has diligently overseen your case. Your file will remain open for an additional six months as your legal representation recommends. Your satisfaction remains our priority as we work towards a satisfactory resolution.Thank you for your patience and trust.

The Newton Group does not have a 100% guarantee. The firm they have used is a ghost. Its been 3 years and the only letter sent out on my behalf was stating they are representing me. When a collections bill came, the lawyer did sent that out as well. However, they haven't reached out to get me out of time share. I asked for my 100% money back guarantee and now they wont call back. They said they would give me $1000 if I would remove these reviews. I said give me half back. nope, only $1000. Do not use Newton Group, They are no better than the time share companies.

My complaint about the Newton Group is their lack of initiative and understanding when dealing with an issue that irate me. I am adamant about not paying a $5 optional fee from the resort, but I was arm twisted by the Newton Group into pay this fee. It might seem trivial, but they failed to understand how upsetting with payment is to me. With the fees they’re charge, one would think payment might be made from petty cash.

You are not alone--we have a lot of our clients who feel the same way as you in that they don't want to pay even one more penny to their resort. However, we make it clear in our contracts that some resorts require additional fees to be paid. Thank you for trusting us to handle your timeshare exit and congratulations on being timeshare and maintenance-fee free!

I paid them $4995 on Feb 6, 2021. In June of this year they started telling us we should be getting papers from the title company any day to sign and they told us the name of the title company. We kept getting told the same thing and that the reason we weren't getting anything was that the title company was dragging their feet. They told us this each month until Oct. when I decided to take matters into my own hands since they hadn't done anything to move the title company along in 4 months. I filed a complaint with the BBB on the title company and was immediately contacted by the owner of the title company. She had never heard of me from the Newton Group. So the Newton Group was lying. I never have figured out why. The Newton Group could come up with no evidence except interoffice communications that they had done anything for me. Not an email or a letter to my timeshare. They quit talking to me after they found out I got in touch with the title company. I don't care. The title company got me the title, I filed it at the courthouse and the title company got it to the timeshare. I did all the work the Newton Group was supposed to do, but didn't and got it done in 30 days. I also found out my timeshare had an exit program that cost $450 while doing some research. Wish I had known that earlier. I filed a complaint against the Newton Group with the BBB, but they have not answered after their second notice on Nov. 8, 2021. Don't waste your money.

Timeshare exit is rarely straightforward, which is why timeshare owners hire a timeshare exit company. At Newton Group, we have over 16 years of timeshare exit experience and have developed important industry relationships, along with a comprehensive five step process that includes personal legal representation for one flat fee. Unfortunately, against our advice and the terms of our contract, this client worked outside of our process, confusing and delaying matters. Newton Group stands behind our process and services, along with our ability to assist owners in ending their timeshare contracts. **Note: this is the same client "Jody Hall" who left a review on October 28, 2021

We paid them $4995 on Feb 6, 2021. They started telling us in June that we should be getting paperwork from the title company, and they named them. When we hadn't gotten any paperwork from the title co. and the Newton Group was still telling us any day now in Oct, I filed a complaint against the title co. on BBB. Boy, did I blow up a hornets nest! The Newton Group is pissed because I stirred the pot, they can't produce any paperwork to verify that they've done anything, they only have in house notes to go on, which is not evidence of doing anything. The title co. owner got in contact with me and got me the title, not the Newton Group. As far as I can tell, they haven't done anything. Don't waste your money on this co. Check with you timeshare about an exit program. I found out my timeshare with Bluegreen has one that costs $450. I didn't find out in time. Don't let this co. rip you off like they did me. In reference to their reply: This company lies and spouts platitudes. I did not contact the title company. They contacted me. If the Newton Group had been honest with me, I wouldn't have filed this complaint. They don't know how to be honest. They just like stringing people along making you think they're earning their money. They're not. Don't waste your money. So now my review has been verified because The Newton Group had it flagged on 2 accounts. 1 that they didn't know who I was and 2 that it was put up later than a year after my first contact with them. Both of which have been proved false. Advice for dealing with any company. Do not communicate with them by phone or make them send you emails or snail mails about all communications, so that you have proof that you were in contact with them. Save all this info for at least a year AFTER you write a review. Thank goodness I did.

Don't trust the fake reviews. This company is not good. Do a little homework and you will find plenty of negative reviews that all say the exact same thing. This is not a coincidence. ***Update*** They left a reply below saying they don't know me. They know me. This is Newton Group DBA Timeshare Freedom Group and masking their identity to give the reply of, "Not us".
