We were fortunate to have our timeshare transferred back to the resort in approximately 51/2 months. The people at the Newton group were knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Because I work best communicating with one person I got the “gold”!! Her name is Sabrina, Senior Inventory Specialist. She always answered my questions and concerns promptly! The Newton Group is very fortunate to have this professional person on their team! Very good company for helping resolving timeshare issues.

We signed up with the Newton Group in November, 2014. The process was lengthy, 4 years. The Group was helpful and finally came through on January, 2019. We are satisfied with the outcome though at times it was very trying. Until 2018, there was not a lot of communication and we felt that we always had to call to get an update. Newton Group went through about 5 different lawyer groups who were not helpful at all and kept telling us that we could not get any updates or copies of communications with Grand Pacific Palisades. Finally, Best Defense Lawyers were able to get the job done. We are very glad it is over and will never invest in any timeshare in the future.

The good thing is, we are done and out from under the burden of our foolish decision to sign up for a points based time share. But the transfer was hardly as smooth, or quick, as we expected. At one point we had to sign a few things, including getting some signatures notarized. The instructions were not clear that one of those forms was supposed to be separately signed and notarized by each of us (as in, print out 2 copies and we each sign and have our copy notarized). So we had to redo this, which of course cost us more money (and time). Not to mention that a couple of times we had sent in requested documents, only to be asked for them a second time, as if we had not sent them. Finally, long after we assumed everything was done and complete, we got notice from the time share people that we were not allowed to have used a 3rd party to get out of this. We panicked, as we'd already paid a large amount of money to the Newton Group. In the end, they did take care of it for us, though we had to sign yet another form, stating that we had not used a 3rd party, which made no sense.

It was a very lengthy process, about 3 years. They did contact me on a monthly basis. We haven't received any legal documents saying that we were released from our timeshare but did receive a letter from The Newton Group saying that it was done.
