What a great trip! Kayaking is the ultimate way to explore the swamps. We paddled through a beautiful, cypress laden wildlife management area where our guide was able to point out several owls, egrets and even a small alligator which I guess is a rarity in late November. We learned a lot about the area’s history and environmental issues facing Louisiana’s delta. Will definitely be back!

We did a gator boat trip my first time in New Orleans and did this the next time around. I'd do this again hands down. The guides were great, and you just felt like you were really apart of something special rather than forking over money for another tourist type of trap. And the guides were awesome - We grabbed beers with them after and learned about the entire operation and why they do it where they do, why they work with the community that they do, etc. If you don't mind a little bit of exercise I can't recommend this experience enough!

The tour was an awesome experience. Josh our guide was very informative, providing a realistic perspective of the bayou while bringing attention to its many forms of beauty. It’s a place with an incredible history, that people should take the chance to explore in this way if they have the opportunity.
