I’m extremely disappointed with NewAge Customer Service and Logistics
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with NewAge Products. While the cabinets themselves are decent, the logistics, communication, and customer service surrounding my order were some of the worst I have experienced for a large home-improvement purchase. My order was delayed by approximately one month, and the delivery was postponed three separate times. Throughout the process, I had to go back and forth repeatedly with NewAge, the freight carrier, and the installer just to figure out when my order would actually arrive and when installation could happen. What made this especially frustrating is that I specifically paid for White Glove Delivery and Installation because I expected NewAge to coordinate the process. Instead, I found myself acting as the coordinator between NewAge, the carrier, and the installer. At one point, NewAge indicated that all five items had been delivered, while the carrier told me they had only received three items for delivery and had no information regarding the remaining two cabinets. Meanwhile, the delivered cabinets were taking up a significant amount of space in my garage while I waited for answers. I had to contact multiple parties repeatedly to figure out what was happening. The delivery was also postponed multiple times, which created additional inconvenience because we had to rearrange our schedules around the expected deliveries. After paying extra for a premium delivery and installation service, I should not have had to spend this much time tracking down my own order and coordinating everyone involved. Unfortunately, the problems did not end once the cabinets finally arrived. After installation, I discovered scratches on the side of one of the cabinets. I contacted NewAge and provided photos and a video documenting the damage. Customer service acknowledged the issue and indicated that I would receive a partial reimbursement/compensation. However, that reimbursement was never actually provided. That is probably the most disappointing part of the experience. Delays and shipping problems can happen, but when a company tells a customer that compensation will be provided, I expect that commitment to be honored without the customer having to chase them again. For a company selling relatively expensive garage cabinetry and offering “White Glove” services, I expected a much more organized and professional experience. Instead, I experienced: • Approximately one month of delivery delay • Three postponed delivery dates • Repeated back-and-forth communication • Conflicting information between NewAge and the freight carrier • Having to personally coordinate with both the carrier and installer despite paying for White Glove service • Scratches/damage discovered after delivery and installation • A promised partial reimbursement that was never received The cabinets may ultimately serve their purpose, but the overall purchasing experience was unnecessarily stressful and time-consuming. NewAge seriously needs to improve its logistics coordination, communication between vendors, and follow-through from customer service. Based on my experience, I would be very hesitant to purchase from NewAge again—especially if the order involves freight delivery or installation.
