The liner in my Nero short has a tear. The stitching did not hold up. The shorts were gently used. Mostly for lounging. I followed the care for instructions exactly. After reaching out to customer support and sending pics of the defect, I was told that there was nothing they can do and to make sure to follow the care for instructions. The shorts did not even last one year. These are $90 pair of shorts. After only two washes the brand label on the inside of the shorts also pealed off. These short were advertised for active wear. To be used for intense workouts, which I never did. The material is comfy but the craftsmanship is definitely lacking. I was surprised that the customer support seemed to not be interested about my concerns or retaining me as a repeat customer. I have placed multiple order with this company. Safe to say I will be looking elsewhere next time I am looking for an alternative to the nylon/polyester gym short.

I was looking for 100% underwear, and I recently purchased the All Natural Organic Cotton Boxers and I'm really happy with them! The quality is excellent, the cotton feels very comfortable, and the fit is great. I was initially unsure about the sizing, so I contacted customer service before ordering and Leah was extremely helpful. Very happy with my purchase and will definitely be ordering more!

Review nearly 1 year later after purchase. Order: #14099 I bought one pair with the merino liner and one without. I was really happy with the fit and feel of these shorts upon arrival... However, after a few washes (always following the reccomended instructions) they went out of shape and faded a lot. They now look really old after less than a year. There was also pilling on the liner of the merino pair. For the price tag I expected a lot more quality/longevity from these. I'll probably try the shorts from 'Excommunicado" next, as they are cheaper and also 100% cotton.

I originally bought a couple pairs of Nero shorts after learning about the origins of polyester, and the not so good effects of working out wearing petroleum based plastic against your open pores. I love running and working out in my shorts. They are so comfortable. I have the added benefit of knowing that I’m not getting doses of microplastics while I’m sweating. I recently had a problem with one of my shorts that was less than a year old with a hole forming on the inside lining. I emailed the company and asked if it’s normal for the lining to have issues that soon. Leah asked me if I have swam in them, washed in chlorine, tumble dried, or been in the sauna. I told her I go to the sauna often and tumble dry them. She explained that pretty much all of these things I should not do due to the merino wool liner being more sensitive, she said they would send me another pair but to follow the care instructions. I was blown away by this. There are no companies that take care of their customers like this anymore. Not to mention it was my fault not theirs. While I truly didn’t expect this, I will be a loyal customer of Nero for life. Looking forward to buying more of y’all’s products 🙏😊💪🏻

I bought a couple of their wool lined, cotton shorts and I gotta say they’re pretty bad for a gym short. First of all the wool liner is very thin and uncompressed, your bits keep dangling during a workout which is a bit annoying, you can use of course underwear but that kinda defeats the purpose of already having a wool liner doesn’t it? I think it could be solved by having a “pocket” of sorts. This bit would be fine if not by the fact that the short it self and the liner get deformed quite quickly, they restores their size after a wash (I have only wash them twice, with the recommended kind of soap), but its definitely not the fit of a “premium equipment”. Also the sticker-tag of one of the shorts has already peeled off after like 2 weeks of use. Lastly, the two times I’ve wash them the cotton part sheeds pretty intensely (specifically from The light grey short) making the wool part get full of fluff, is not a big deal, but these were 70£ shorts, I’m kinda expecting a premium product here. I only was the shorts on their own, not even with other wool pieces, and on my washing machine’s delicate cycle. The construction of the cotton shorts looks pretty good and feels great, same as the wool, they certainly have the premium look, but not sure about premium design. And unrelated to their shorts, they keep using cheaply AI marketing, I understand that as a new company AI is your cheapest option, but for a company that its whole stich is “leave plastic for natural fibers” the message gets quite muddied. Also again, 70£ - 50£ shorts you could invest some of it back. Anyhow, I dont think I’ll be coming back.

Needed fast delivery so got in touch with customer services and Leah arranged for it to go out same day. Excellent customer service and excellent products!

Over 3 weeks for delivery, in spite of the product being in stock and apparently being shipped straight away. Not great at setting expectations, if you want to sell products at this pricetag one great achievement would be to configure your Shopify properly, at least customers can know what to expect.

Cheaply made Chinese product, plastic stitching and components, £50. ORDER #35261. Pair of active cotton unlined shorts. Really felt like these guys are just leveraging the algorithm for opportunistic profit rather than making a legitimately good product that fills a gap and stands the test of time. Ultimately I felt kind of ripped off. Disposable on every level. Don't fall for it.
