Great group of people working at Nelson Coleman. Helped my wife and I get exactly what we were looking for at very good price.

I like Nelson Coleman because they are friendly to everyone who walks in the door. Though they are a high-end jewelry store, they always have some pretty and original pieces that aren't too costly; if you tell them you don't have a lot of money to spend, they are just as agreeable and interested in what you choose as if you were shopping for something expensive. The jewelers there seem to really understand gems, and even have little placards inside the cases explaining why one diamond, for example, is more costly than another that looks similar to the untrained eye. They never make a customer feel intimidated, and they never apply pressure. The salespeople are refreshingly genuine and cordial, and there are often candies or cookies to snack on.

Communication throughout the process, delivery dates were met, last minute appointments made available and the perfect engagement ring produced.

We have been customers of Nelson Coleman Jewelers for over forty years. The company has been a family business for over three generations. One owner is expert in estate and antique jewelry. There are on-site gemologists, designers, goldsmiths and artisans. Some in the shop are relatives of the owners, but everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. We have purchased many items, both expensive and not, and we have traded and sold items on consignment. All deals have been fair and cordial. Hopefully, we will continue to use N-C as our jeweler for many years to come.
