Dodgy Stealthy Subscription Tactic
Like everyone else who has been over charged, I have had unauthorised charges on my credit card from Nation Health since my original order. I'm in Australia. I simply wanted one bottle of Liver Renew and before I got to checkout I was bombarded with multiple offers, which I declined but they kept coming. Buy Now and Save! NO thanks. So I kept clicking until I was finally led into the shopping cart to finalise my order. Unbeknownst to me they signed me up to some type of subscription because I was just charged for more Liver Renew capsules when I never went onto the website to get them. So, not only did they lose a customer, they have gained a vocal adversary. Buyer BEWARE! *** update since OP*** Don’t be fooled to think it’ll be easy to just unsubscribe after your purchase. I tried. There’s no way to unsubscribe online. You can only go thru the customer service centre. And when you’re in Australia, the time difference only adds to the challenge. They said it would take 24 hours to respond but after 2 days I still had to hound them. Then they replied that my subscription had been placed on hold and that I can restart my order anytime, even giving me a cute little button to click whenever I felt the need to get another “hit” of liver renew. Lol! I then asked them to completely deactivate my account. Delete my credit card number and all personal information. But they told me that they couldn’t do that. Why? So they can sell it to another dodgy marketing company? So they can get hacked and have my details exposed? So they can claim they’ve helped millions of customers? So they can keep sending me spam? I’m pretty sure if I want my personal data erased, I’m entitled to my privacy/digital security. At least I thought so… Seriously, stay tf away from this company. Even if they promised the elixir of youth I’d NEVER do business with these charlatans again. End. Of.
