For about eighteen years as a member
it has been a fantastic educational domain journey!
Moderators have been consistently fair, friendly, and supportive. Whenever I reported issues they were quick to respond. Many times decisons were not in my favor. However, as I look back, I fully understand why they did what they did.
Continue doing a great job!

***BEWARE*** What an absolute terrible, heart breaking, saddening/angering experience! ***STAY AWAY***
I paid for a membership, and then I thought I needed a higher membership based off of the number of websites I was trying to have audited/appraised.
The first problem was: It was a same day upgrade, they should've credited me from the lower tier upgrade to the higher tier. Instead they made me pay for both. So I ended up paying $5 for the lower tier package + $10 for the higher tier package, instead of just $10. I don't feel this right at all. Immoral I feel is the most appropriate word. I should've only had to pay $5 as it was a same day upgrade.
After doing extensive research on this forum (to include reviewing the poor reviews here on TrustPilot) I kindly asked for a refund. I was more or less accosted for even upgrading in the first place.
I was indeed granted a refund on the lower tier package, however when I requested a refund on the higher tier package (this was after I discovered the awful things that this forum participates in) I was completely ignored for over 24 hours. It was interesting because they were completely fine messaging me over and over trying to humiliate me for upgrading in the first place, but when I raised my concerns regarding the things done on the forum, they went silent immediately. It took multiple private messages to the forum moderation team(s) to gain a response.
It appears that the moderators utilize some sort of "team account" in which multiple persons utilize the same accounts. One such persons/moderator account said they would be giving me a refund, then another person/moderator account said they would not be. When I politely requested clarification on this I was met with something about grammatical errors in the first persons/moderator accounts message.
At this point after being told I was receiving a refund for the higher tier account and then I being told I was not going to be receiving one, I advised the moderation team(s) that I would be filing a dispute with my financial institution. I had no plan to do this, it was more or less a "scare tactic" to get my funds returned in a timely and amicable manner. I had remained very polite, friendly and cordial during each and every interaction with these persons/teams/moderators. Literally seconds after my sending the message in this thread, my account was then locked and/or suspended even though I had done nothing wrong except exercise my first amendment right to free speech.
In addition to my account being frozen/suspended I was sent a direct message saying that my account was being investigated for potential scams. In the body of this direct message they said that this was to ensure that the community members of the NamePros forum were safe. I am really not sure what my saying I was going to open a dispute with my financial institution and the community members well being have in common, but yes, I no longer had access to my account for simply saying something. So apparently you can't even joke around on this forum.
Since they actually did take away/suspend my account that I had paid for, I did indeed take immediate action after that and contact my bank to open a real dispute with them regarding all of this. That dispute investigation is in the works and I have submitted the proper evidence to support my claims.
In an attempt to get clarification on the bizarre nature of all of this and the "power trip" that these persons/moderation teams seem to be on I sent several messages to the support team via the support forum. I opened several support threads in an attempt to better understand what was going on, however, each of them were closed without being answered to, and eventually I was blocked from even contacting the NamePros support staff at all -- Literally over exercising my right to free speech, making a joke mind you.
Despite this being so upsetting, my getting angry during every instance, I maintained composure during each and every person(s) that I engaged with. I wish I could say the same about the persons on the other end of the keyboard. I ended each direct message with how I end every email, "Thank you ever so much" and "Best" (as in Best Regards). They actually accused me of being "fake polite" for doing this...? I am naturally a friendly person -- To be called out like this is terribly upsetting, especially because I cannot even defend myself because I am behind a computer screen.
However, in a bizarre twist, I received an email today saying that I was being investigated by the forum staff for opening a new account...?
Lastly, they have removed ALL DMs of mine so I cannot provide proof of any of this to my bank or anyone else.
This place does not make any sense and has no business being on the internet.
They seem to be miserable themselves so they want to inflict that upon the rest of us.
EDIT: 05/14/2026 @ 1145pm EST - Harassment continues with more DMs from moderators.

Dear Greg aka G.C. aka 3beeps aka beeps3 aka PRM Wire,
We've reviewed your NamePros account:
You were banned for abuse, harassment, and hostile behavior.
We realize that being banned has led you to lie about what happened, and it's sad to read the way you've twisted your story.
Then, you fraudulently created yet another account and sent us this:
"Don't ever try to fuck with me again. This is what you all get. Bunch of douche bag stolen valor pieces of shit." – Gregory C.
Your ban is permanent and not eligible for review.
Take care.

A Must For Domain Investors
I have been an active member of the forum for over 10 years now. Over those 10 years, I have made numerous business connections, many sales and purchases, and watched the forum grow and adapt to the needs of its members. There is no other resource that compares to the depth of experience and knowledge shared on Namepros.

Namepros was great
Namepros was great. Not anymore. You can't do free discussion. If you tell the truth to protect domain investors from systematic scam, they will threaten and then ban you. So simple. "Bad money drives out good money", probably this is the sentence which would summarize the situation. Let me give an example. Company-X, used mostly by domain investors, does something obviously evil to scam domain investors via a social engineering trick. You report it on Namepros, and you are supposed to get likes and thanks from everyone, but this doesn't happen. Company-X makes a nonsense defense and can't answer any question, which is a solid proof that they are guilty and they know it. Company-X also advertises on Namepros, and report those democratic posts to mods, probably threatens Namepros for not advertising there anymore. And Namepros chooses the easy route and silence you. Main crime is done by Company-X, but it could easily be stopped if Namepros acted reasonably, because there are enough number of smart people in domain business, but if you look at Namepros, you will see mostly low iq posts, which survive silencing. UPDATE: I didn't mean Namecheap by Company-X. Company-X is much better, but have a new (1+year old) unacceptable change in their system which had to be reported. I'm more angry at Namepros users than Namepros itself, their failure to support my warning caused all this, but who knows, maybe there were supporters and all were silenced.

Hello, there's only one thread that matches your template (ID 1371708), and it was closed based on member reports and community consensus.
The reason your peers felt it should be closed is because the thread creator refused to answer follow-up questions, provide evidence, or substantiate their claims in any way.
The community decided that the cause was a coincidence or website bug, and therefore, the thread was created based on conjecture, speculation, or as part of an attack campaign against Company-X for undisclosed reasons.
Please note that none of this is related to NamePros: NamePros is not part of Company-X.
NamePros did not warn or ban any accounts because of that discussion. The thread creator made a throwaway account on NamePros to post it, which is why their account looks unusual, but their account (ID 1090916) is still open and unrestricted if they choose to use it.
We hope this context helps.

... utterly disappointing ...
I found Namepros.com to be a seemingly reputable and practical interactive computing service, on its face. However, my experience has been utterly disappointing due to their failure to adhere to basic data protection and privacy obligations.
After expressing dissatisfaction with their services and requesting the permanent deletion of my sensitive information, the company Namepros.com adequately refused to comply. This is obviously a clear violation of applicable consumer privacy laws, which stipulate that a business can only refuse to delete data if there is a lawful exception—something they have not demonstrated or formally outlined.
Their failure to delete my information not only breaches consumer trust but also exposes them to potential legal liabilities related to defamation, libel, or slander claims amongst other appropriate concerns.
Their refusal to honor my data deletion request demonstrates a complete disregard for consumer rights and has significantly jeopardized my integrity, privacy, and more alarming safety. Such actions are unacceptable and reflect poorly on their ethical standards and commitment to user trust.
I strongly advise caution when dealing with this company, especially regarding personal data and privacy concerns, as Bodis.com has announced they are no longer the holding corporation of Namepros.com

Hello, we understand your situation. In this case, our policies help to protect our community from misuse of our services.
For example, your account is banned from using our marketplace, and if we were to delete your account, then we wouldn't know that you need to be blocked from our marketplace when you create a new account.
All kinds of bad actors, from nonpaying bidders to intentional fraudsters, have tried to take advantage of account deletion for malicious purposes. For that reason, we do not delete accounts.
Fortunately, you can still edit the data you've entered on our website, and we provide various methods and automated tools for you to do that via our privacy policy: https://www.namepros.com/privacy
We know this isn't the answer you wanted, but we hope it helps.
