I have been with mywindows hosting for several years now, but two years ago their entire platform was hacked by ransomware resulting in all of my website being infected and corrupted. There were no uneffected backups made by them, and to this day I sit with no websites. Even the backups that I made got infected. All my hardwork down the drain.

All of my sites are down and have been down for at least a day.so glad I've kept backups of everything. I'm switching everything to a new host now.FYI - The only communication I've received from Mywindowshosting is the following email: Dear customer, Your hosting account was under attack and hackers have encrypted all your data. We are now working with security experts to try to decrypt your data and also to make sure this would never happen again. Please stay tune for more info. Please know that we are getting thousands of messages in our email and we don’t have enough staffs to reply them all. So please don’t email us. We will continue to put out notices on our Facebook page. Please check back soon.

I am very disappointed. They have a major outage - absolutely no communication with customers.No email, No chat ...even support ticket system is down. I have two sites running - same issues. I noticed today that my unlimited hosting plan has a limit on DB size..i cannot wait to move away. So prospective customers - my advise is to stay away from this lot - thanks and best wishes

Biggest issue is that they have stopped communications of any type. There has been a issue from yesterday and there is no response from them of any sought. Their servers are down and their phones and online support are not responding. One at least expects them to respond with the time line of their revival.

So we been using this hosting provider for years and to be honest should have moved away from them since the day one. Throughout our journey we have experienced constant down time of SQL Server, had multiple data losses where they had lost all our email data and today once again their whole infrastructure is down (2 hours currently) So to be honest i think this hosting can be only used for non business critical scenarios. In case you are fine to be down for 5-6 hours each 2-3 months then you can safely choose MyWindows hosting. Good luck.
