Received my Waggle and it was defective. I was asked to pay shipping to return it, refused. Finally got them to send a shipping label. Returned it the same day and now 2weeks later I’m still waiting and paying for a years subscription that I can’t use. They keep telling me it will come today. Tracking number never updates. Not the best experience!!

Can’t review as it’s not arrived yet. Would recommend not using USPS for your shipments.

Unreliable and not worthy of trusting your pet’s health on. This system has serious design flaws. First, the system touts reliable communications using built-in Verizon 4g. In the first week I’ve owned it, I have been testing it in a fixed location in my house. This location also has 2 Verizon iPhones and a Verizon LTE home internet router. The iPhones and LTE home internet router have never had difficulty connecting to the Verizon network. The Waggle device itself reports 3 out of 3 bars of signal strength. Yet the Waggle device loses connectivity with the Waggle cloud 10-12 times per day. This may be due to a poor antenna design or poor integrated LTE radio, or unreliable Waggle cloud. Second- not surprisingly, Waggle limits the number of text message alerts it sends each month. They claim the limit is 500 per month. What they don’t tell you is that number is further limited according to the reason for the text alert. And they only give you up to 10 text alerts alerting you that their unreliable system has stopped communicating with the Waggle cloud. (Could this limit be because they know their system is unreliable and would send a lot of failure to communicate alerts?). Add to this their design decision to not include WiFi capability as an alternative communication path for Waggle. So this means that Waggle is not only unreliable, but they don’t want to notify you when their unreliable system stops communicating, and they don’t want you to have an alternate backup communication method so that the device can continue to operate even when it’s LTE radio is not communicating. Clearly this device was not designed reliable enough nor robust enough with any sort of backup or fail-over capability and is therefore not worthy of helping to protect the life of a pet.
