I was a subscriber for over a year when I began receiving duplicates of boxes I had already received in the past. When I emailed the company to ask if this was an error, the person who responded was rude and abusive and never answered my question. There are much better options out there. Spend your money elsewhere. I cannot recommend this company.

I wish I had looked into this more and seen these reviews before signing up for six months. I thought it would be a great gift but I never received anything. I contacted after a month and was told it had been shipped but they’d ship another. Now it’s been two more weeks and not only have I not received anything, but now I can’t even get a reply. I’ll attempt to chargeback, but hopefully no one else finds themselves in a similar position. There are other actual companies that produce similar products. Spend your money there. Do not order from these thieves.

The game is riddled with errors because no one at the company bothers to proof read. They frequently leave clue pieces out and never answer inquiries. It is shoddy and a giant rip off. Do not buy.

This is to warn whomever may be considering doing business with this company. Don't do it! I wondered why I had to sign up for a subscription service when ordering a game. I should have stuck with my gut. I bought this game on 11/19 when I saw it on Facebook thinking it would be fun to play on Christmas. I received it a few days later. I never even opened the box. I read the subscription cancellation policy carefully. I was sure to cancel my subscription before I was supposed to be billed. A few days after I cancelled (12/22), I received an identical box in the mail. I was told it was the box I'd "already paid for." Low and behold, this company had charged my card again on 12/1! I didn't even realize it!!! I cancelled well before 30 days after subscribing and they sent the second box AFTER I cancelled. They refuse to allow me to return it!!! I haven't even opened the first box yet, and now I have another. I have paid $84.97 and I don't even want to try this game anymore. Yes, the second box was $5.00 more than the first and I don't want to stick around to find out how much the next one would be. So, before signing up for a subscription here, please consider this....How much fun could this game be if people have to be tricked into buying a second box? If it was so great, a "subscription" wouldn't be necessary. I really wish I had thought of this before signing up. I hope this helps someone.

I received a box that was delivered to my door in the rain and it got wet and ruined the suspect list. It was all stuck together and I could not open it. I emailed and asked for a new list to be sent and received no response in over a month. Not a good experience at all.

Scam company, no items received - paid for a subscription service and never received anything, contact support and they said that they could not find the order, screen shot my own account of their site and still no resolution, I will be reporting this to the bank as Fraud.

This company is a scam!!!! I signed up for 3 months -- 3 different boxes and only got 1. When I tried to find out what happened to my second box by sending polite and complimentary emails. I got no response. I then sent one asking if this was a scam and within minutes, I got a response. They told me that they would not respond to any future rude emails. I copied and resent the first 2 emails and explained my frustration on the 3rd email. Their answer was that they didn't need my business and they were cancelling my "membership". I asked for a refund for the 2 boxes that didn't arrive and they said they don't give refunds. I am now stopping payment on my credit card. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. AS MUCH FUN AS THE ONE BOX WAS, YOU WILL NOT GET ANY MORE BOXES FROM THEM OR A REFUND!!!! Too bad, we could have had a lot of people trying it.

SCAM ALERT!! THIEVES!!! I purchased a subscription with this company on July 6, 2020. They create a label but they don't actually ship the mystery box. They charged me for 2 boxes at $39.99 each, for a total of $79.99. I filed a police report and I also contacted my bank to close my credit card account in order to prevent them from charging my card for boxes that I will never receive. I attempted to contact them via email and never received a response. I tried to call them, but it's a recorded line and you cannot leave a message. I tried to reach them via their Facebook page, only to have my message deleted and get blocked from ever commenting on their FB page. I reported them to Facebook as a FAKE AND SCAM PAGE. I also left them negative review on the Better Business Bureau website and I was not the only one. I commented on several posts from frustrated customers that had the same problem with this company. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They are only there to steal your money! Also they go by the name Murder Mystery in a Box on Facebook but their website has a totally different name.
