Deceptive Job Scam: False Listings, Fake Local HQ, and Data Harvesting
Be extremely cautious with Sky Systems, Inc. (SkySys) found via job boards like ZipRecruiter. They advertise immediate openings with appealing pay and per diem, but it is a misleading setup designed to harvest sensitive personal information under false pretenses. Here is how they operate: Bait-and-Switch Timelines: The job was initially advertised as an immediate opening with a 2-week turnaround, which then shifted to 4 to 8 weeks after initial contact. Fake Physical Location: During the interview process, they claimed to have a physical headquarters in Novi, Michigan...which turns out to be entirely false upon checking. Aggressive Data Harvesting: They push candidates to complete background checks, drug screenings, and hand over highly sensitive private details, including a driver's license, banking information, and Social Security numbers. The Runaround: Once they have your information, the communication turns into constant excuses and delays regarding schedules and start dates that were supposedly "immediate." Your response completely dodges the reality of what happened. You claim the location in Novi, Michigan is a 'client facility,' but the entire recruitment process was digital smoke and mirrors...complete with fake interview appointments that were canceled multiple times, and no actual local office or physical presence to back it up. Manufacturing an intense, high-pressure rush to demand sensitive personal information online under the guise of an 'onboarding screening' is a red flag. Job seekers deserve transparency, not evasive corporate boilerplate defending deceptive data collection practices." Proof of Deceptive data "I have complete email threads, onboarding details, and a detailed paper log proving the deceptive practices and misleading recruitment tactics used by SkySys (Sky Systems Inc.). I stand by my review 100%. All documentation and correspondence are fully tracked and verifiable."

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify two factual points for the benefit of readers. First, the Novi, Michigan location referenced during the hiring process is a facility operated by our client, and is not represented as a SkySys office. Second, background checks, driving record reviews, and related screening processes are standard requirements for driving-related positions and are commonly conducted as part of the onboarding process for roles involving vehicle operation. We take candidate privacy seriously and handle personal information in accordance with applicable requirements and established hiring processes. We appreciate all feedback and continually strive to ensure a transparent and professional experience for candidates. SkySys Team
