PRODUCT SAFETY ISSUE
I am giving 1 star because there is no option for negative stars. WATCH FOR INEFFECTIVE UNSAFE COMPOUNDED PRODUCTS. I had a very disappointing experience with RNK Health. I received compounded medication bearing an auxiliary label instructing that it be refrigerated, yet it was shipped by their partner pharmacy, Precision Medication Inc. in New York, in a standard UPS bubble envelope without any apparent temperature-control measures during summer conditions, not once but TWICE. When I raised concerns about whether the medication may have been exposed to temperatures outside of the recommended storage range, I repeatedly requested information regarding the product's stability and acceptable excursion temperatures. After considerable effort, I was finally connected with a member of RNK Health's medical team, but the nurse practitioner was unable to answer questions regarding the stability of the compounded medication or provide guidance on acceptable temperature excursions. Precision Medication Inc. reportedly operates as a 503A compounding pharmacy, which made the handling of a refrigerated injectable medication in packaging more appropriate for a pair of socks than a prescription product all the more concerning. Despite my legitimate concerns and loss of confidence in the integrity of the medication, RNK Health refused to issue a refund, claiming it fell outside of their policy.
