After waiting an extra week to ship, the package was sent to the wrong address, despite the shipping address being correct on the receipt. The lamp housing arrived cracked in half, but 2 stars because at least the lamp worked.

Paid for 2 day delivery received it on the 3rd day, some clamps from the projector bulb had fallen off so we had to look at the old bulb to figure out where those clamps should go. Would have sent it back but I needed it that day.

Hello Margaret, Thank you for your feedback. Sounds like both issues you are reporting were caused by FedEx which is out of our control. Your order was shipped with 2-day service the same day the order was placed. Looking at the tracking information on FedEx.com FedEx explains there was a delay on their end. All lamps are checked more than once before they leave our facility. Loose clamps are caused by either shaking or dropping the package while shipping. We will work with FedEx to get the shipping refunded back to you. Once again we apologize for any inconvenience but we feel the issues you experienced was not caused by our company but we will gladly work with you to correct the situation. Ordered 2 replacement lamps for a Christie projector. Over-nighted them for an extra $30 and they showed up 3 days later. Sent the previous replacement lamp back to MyProjectorLamps for refund as it fell under the manufacturer warranty (less than 90 days and 500 hours). Waiting to see if I will get credited for the $400 purchase?

Dear Chris, I am sorry that our company did not meet your expectations. I have refunded Invoice 127686 today. Our normal turn-around time for a refund is 2-5 business days after a lamp has arrived back into our office. This is definitely an area that our company can improve on in the future. In reference to Invoice 130231, the transaction occurred May 22, and the lamp was also shipped with FedEx Express Overnight service on the afternoon of May 22. Please note that FedEx Ground and Express Services do not deliver on weekends (Sat/Sun) nor all statutory holidays. Monday, May 25 was Memorial Day this year. Therefore the earliest an order placed on Friday May 22 could deliver would have been the Tuesday morning - this is the date of your delivery. I can take ownership that we did not communicate this delayed delivery date to you at the time of purchase. I could smell the new lamp (Sony KDF-55E2000) getting warm when I plugged it in. The smell went away but by the end of the first day I had an orange line across the top of the TV screen. When I read the information about the guarantee, it states that I would have to pay to ship the original item back and it the company decides the lamp isn't defective, I would also be charged a $25 restocking fee. I am not going to pay to send the item back and have them possibly decide it is not the lamp and charge me another $25. I will call the company and unless they can take care of the problem without me having to pay to return the defective lamp, I will order a lamp someplace else and not use this site again.

The service is always great but this time the packing was poor. Considering the value of this package and the fragile contents I would have expected some packing material to be taking up the extra space inside of the shipping box. Instead the boxes for these expensive lamps we sliding around inside of the shipping box. Banging into one another with nothing to absorb the shock of shipping. Please buy the shipping department some bubble wrap or something.

I have purchased 3 bulbs in the last year. The first one lasted only six months and they burned out unexpectedly. The second one lasted under two weeks and the third only three days. Your return policy is time consuming and would have required I wait far to long for you to decide whether I get a new bulb. The projector is my family television and therefore going for weeks without it was not something I was willing to do. Therefore after wasting close to a thousand dollars on bulbs I was forced to get a new television instead. It is no where near the size of the projector but it at least works. I doubt you will reimburse me for the defective bulbs in cash so now I am out of pocket for the last two bulbs. I wonder what you response to this will be. 13 Jan 15 Update: the company has since contacted me. They have agreed to refund me the money for the last three bulbs I bought. They even offered to refund the money for the bulb and module I bought over a year ago. That wasn't necessary. They have sent me a prepaid FedEx waybill do it won't cost me anything to send them.
