I have used Lola's tampons for several months now and while I like the fact that they are made from organic cotton I found two significant problems. First, the string is super thin and very smooth, so when you try to pull the tampon out it digs into fingers quite unpleasantly and it slips between them at the same time. It’s a problem with all tampon sizes, the worst being with the super and super+ size. Second, I bought a pack with the plastic applicator so that I don’t have to touch anything, not a single time did it work- the tampon remains in the plastic applicator and I have to pull it out and insert the tampon with my finger-exactly what I tried to avoid, so the applicator and the string have to be modified for the product to work really well, otherwise it’s a more expensive product with subpar performance.

I love the idea behind Lola, but the tampons need work. I have a regular to light flow and leaked with every size tampon. The tampons don’t expand at all! They don’t absorb much. Thankfully customer service refunded the cost of my order. Wish I had a better experience

I wanted to love LOLA but after 4 months, I had to switch back. They were so dry, they didn’t absorb well, and they left bits of lint behind even on the heaviest flow days. I moved down to the lightest absorbency in hopes the pure cotton was just more absorbent. It didn’t help. The applicator sticks and doesn’t deploy smoothly. The paper wrappers don’t survive the purse test, even in a side pocket. LOLA is a great concept but doesn’t accomplish what they need to do at the basic level.

I was very excited to try these as I am allergic to pretty much every tampon... but these were not absorbent at all! I just leaked right past the tampon.. not ok! I feel bad because I think the company seems great but sadly, I won’t be buying them again because they can’t do their main job!

Terrible pads. Don't stick at all. Not absorbent either. Small. Waste of money!!

First order great, shipped soon after ordering no problem. Fast shipping. The pads dont stick well at all though. Like others have said the tampons could use some work not to bad though. They are comfortable. I liked them so far but my second time has been a nightmare. I wanted to change the date of my subscription so I had to email to change it because you can't do it. They changed it and charged my account. I got told it would be here way before the 20th since they charged my account on the 9th. I never received my confirmation email. A week went by I emailed customer service THREE times before someone got back to me. They said that it was getting ready to ship in a few days. By then I was moving and asked to cancel or change my address. Apparently they couldn't. So I asked again if it would be here before the 20th , they said it would. 3 days later it finally shipped . I kept checking the update and every few days the arrival date kept changing. Now it's not gonna be here tell after the 20th and I have no way of picking it up or figuring out how to get it to the correct address. I emailed customer service asking for a refund because it's been such a nightmare trying to get this order. I still haven't heard back. I cancelled my order and would not recommend this company ever.

Love love love the company and the awareness they are trying to bring to women's health. Good intentions aside, these tampons are completely useless. I am unable to wear them without a pad, because leaks are inevitable. I'm on day 4 of a 5 day period and I'm still leaking! I'm using super and I literally used 9 tampons yesterday and leaked every time. I completely understand the absorption is going to be different with organic tampons, but a tampon that HAS to be used with a pad is a pretty useless tampon. Kudos to this company's goals, but they aren't there yet. Also, this is my third month using these. I wanted to love them, but the truth is these tampons suck and you're going to bleed all over everything.....
