I'm a new customer and actually find the p(ads) quite refreshing. The angry reviews below on these TV ads are hilarious but not surprising. As opposed to the false, confusing, and entirely misleading ads that teaches young boys and girls that we are supposedly born "flawless", LOLA is simply showing it for what it is. It's currently a new and very different era of women empowerment where society needs to totally and shamelessly accept us for what we are - beautifully imperfect - take it or leave it. v So as for your children, education is vital. v

First off I would like to say that I was afraid of purchasing my tampons and pads. So far I have only used the pads and all I could say is wow. They absorb very very well and have lasted way longer than my other pads have. They do not slide around and one problem I usually have with my pads is that I find them very itchy. Since these products are made of 100% cotton they are soo comfortable. The reason why I have rated this 4 stars is becauSe I have not tried the Tampons yet since I just saw how they break apart in some people and I don’t want to waste my time by going to the doctors to get it removed. Anyways other then that, The pads are a MUST. And I will update once I have tried the tampons.

I am honestly shocked by the negative reviews of these products. I have used these products for two periods now and have had none of the issues left by the other reviewers. I typically use super tampons the first few days of my period but I actually have used Lola's regular sized and have had no issues of early leakage nor with any left over residue like stated by others. I love that I can customize my subscription and will be adding some new products this next renewal, but as of right now I have been very pleased!

I ordered a mix of pads along with light and heavy tampons. I love the tampons and I'm disappointed in the pads. They don't stick to your panties lead alone stay in place while you sleep. I would maybe order the tampons again but definitely not the pads. I prefer to place one order for both but pads are lacking.

I don't usually write reviews but I wanted to give credit where credit is due. These tampons are great and it's nice knowing that they are made with clean materials. Honestly I haven't really noticed a difference between these and the Tampax that I have been using until now. I definitely don't think they should be getting such low reviews just because people can't figure out how to use the applicator. If you have ever used any travel tampons like Tampax and Kotex have then you should be able to figure these out. For the compact plastic applicator you have to pull out the bottom until it clicks and then you can push the tampon through all the way. One thing I would say on LOLA's end is they could do a better job at making the instruction packet more easy to find or even use graphics on their boxes that show how it works like other brands do. Otherwise they seem great and I like that they deliver and you can customize.

***Update*** For some reason I was not getting any of their responses to my emails, I checked my junk folder even. I did find an email from a CS rep wanting me to rate my experience with Alixe but I had not spoken with anyone. So I believe they didnty to reach out. I did receive a phone call from them and they explained what happened and fixed it. All is well. Thank you for working to fix my issue!!!! I did change my 2 star review to 4. Great product.. awful customer service. My subscription will not auto ship even though it says active. I try to manually process it and it does nothing. I can’t get anyone to respond when I email asking why this is happening. I have emailed them 3-4 times in the last 2 months and... nothing

Update: I've now tried the 'super' absorbancy and they were great. Liners and pads are thin and comfortable. If you're thinking of buying their tampons step up to the next level of absorption however you decide to customize your order. Order super instead of regular and regulars instead of lights. I found d they do have cardboard applicators, so I'll be switching to those from the plastic. Original Post: Great poor product. Tampons just aren't absorbant. In comparison to Tampax regulars the regular Lola tampon only lasts 1/3 the time while absorbing properly. I really wanted to love them, but the leakages make them a fail. Also, being an all natural product I was disappointed with the plastic applicator verses a paper applicator. I may try the diva cup next.

Overall, this is a convenient subscription service. I like the liners, and the tampons work just fine, however, the plastic applicator needs some improvement. When you pull out the bottom part of the applicator, it does not click into place and if you pull too hard it comes all the way out. Other than that, I like the fact that the products are organic cotton with no toxins or synthetics and at the end of the day that is something to feel good about. :)
