I found that the liners and pads weren't nearly secure enough and really should be produced with additional adhesive. Also, the pads were not very comfortable, but I will give them a little more time before I cancel them. I have already cancelled the liners.

Really liked the concept of these tampons but when faced with the reality of them I was utterly disappointed. They were not very absorbent and this was a big issue for me as when I’m using a tampon or pad it is essential that I feel secure and comfortable knowing that I will not leak.

I use LOLA because it's what we have available at the office. If you open the packaging just slightly off, the applicator comes apart and is pretty much useless from there. Also the cardboard applicator is stupid hard to use. I had to use two hands to push it, and if you have a heavier period and things are a little more slippery down there, forget about it. Good idea, but these applicators are the worst and are a huge waste.

I was so excited to try this product and really wanted to love them but they don’t absorb at all. I’ve l experienced heavy leaking that I haven’t experienced with other brands. As a busy nurse who often times doesn’t have the time to frequently run to the bathroom and change her tampon during her shift it’s an unsettling and embarrassing experience when I’ve found I’ve leaked when that’s not something I’ve had an issue with in the past with the other brands. I unfortunately will be canceling my subscription due to needing a product that is more reliable for absorption.

The tampons are not absorbent and leak after only an hour (and I was just sitting around at home when I tried them). I really loved the idea of Lola (the customizable box and subscription service!) but the product does not work as advertised :(

Gave the plastic applicator tampons a go and really wanted to love them as they’re organic and why not treat your insides right. Had multiple leaks with these guys, though! Another reviewer’s comments are accurate - the tampon doesn’t expand to absorb, so once you’ve hit the limit, it’s done! Fortunately I was able to try them over the weekend while at home and had a liner on. Would’ve been a much bigger issue had I not. Wishing these women and the company well, but I’m going back to Playtex Sport for now for leak-proof protection and comfort.

I was a customer for a very long time, and just decided to cancel. They were changing prices and I was told I was "grandfathered" in, and that my price would not change unless I changed my order. Sometime after, with no change to my order, they raised my price two different times, as the quality was going down. The liners started to smell funny, and don't stick well anymore. No thanks, not worth it.

Ok, so since I posted last I figured out how to work the tampon applicator and besides the fact that they should put somewhere that you need to pull it out to use it somewhere instead of just assuming people know, it works pretty well so far. The fact that the panty liners are still the worst is still very true though. Original post - So the first thing I will say is I was super excited to try Lola, but I wish I had read the reviews first. The panty liners are horrible in that they just don’t stick. The first one I pulled out of the box had lots of glue ridges on the back and I was happy with it. The rest of them have had three small spots of glue that half the time stick to the paper rather than the liner and they just don’t stay where you want them. Also, the tampon applicator is horrible!!! I was so disappointed and unless something big changes I am not going to use them again.
