If I could give these 0 stars, I would. These tampons are TERRIBLE!!!!!! Seriously, the worst I have ever used in my entire life. And that's saying a lot because I have had a period for the past 23 years. I can't fully express just how disappointed I am with these tampons. The applicator is so poorely manufactured-i just went through FOUR Lola tampons trying to put one in. The applicator isn't long enough to push the tampon through so each time I would pull the plastic out the tampon would come out with it. The fourth try it finally stayed up there, but it was right on the edge-I could feel it and it was super uncomfortable. I had to pull it out. I then gave up and searched for a playtex tampon-luckily I had one-put it in in 2 seconds-no issues whatsoever. I will be going back to Playtex immediately. So upset that I wasted money on these. I was so excited about this product-such a great idea-home delivery, blue packaging, organic, pick your types, etc. I wanted to love it so bad, but unfortunately they did not invest in the manufacturing of the tampon itself. So disappointing that this was created by women-they should be ashamed to put such a crappy product out there. Cancelling my subscription immediately.

Just sent this to Lola: So this is my first day using your product. I ordered 2 boxes of super plus. 5th tampon today. Apparently your super plus is not comparable with Tampax in the amount of liquid it can hold and how frequently i need to change it. Bled on my jeans and my shorts. (i'm 42 years old. this is not my first rodeo.) 5 out of 5 for the applicator not working AT ALL. it doesn't do anything but push the tampon out a little bit, then get stuck. my fingers aren't long enough to reach through the hole to push it out. so 5 times today i've had to pull a bloody tampon and applicator out, try not to get it all over my work outfit, pull it out of the worthless applicator, put it in myself & wash all this mess off (thank god i went in the wheelchair stall!). what a terrific day guys! i'm so glad i didn't tell anyone to buy this fiasco. i will tell them *not* to. subscription cancelled.

These flat out do not work! They don't expand and don't absorb well at all. I really wanted these to work but they leak within a few minutes on a heavy day and I've never had that problem with any other natural cotton tampon before. Since they don't expand they also have a tendency to slide right out, so for goodness sake don't sneeze! I'll go back to buying my 100% cotton feminine products at the store or continue to use the cup instead. It's a nice idea these ladies have with the monthly delivery but unless they improve the product what's the point?!

I was very excited to try these tampons especially since I'm constantly trying to find products that are chemical free. I purchased two boxes of regular and super mixed. The first time I tried them, it was a heavy period and I went with a super to start, and brought one extra in case. I got to work and after 45 minutes I had bled through my underwear. I am 29 years old and haven't experienced this since I wore pads when I was 15. To say it was embarrassing would be an understatement. I put another in and and also placed toilet paper in my pants just in case. I bled through that as well. During my lunch I went and bought other tampons, and only use these when I'm home and know I can change them at a moments notice. For the amount of money I spent on these, I was beyond upset with my purchase. You live and you learn and a little bit of chemicals going in my body is not worth the embarrassment and worry of whether I have bled through my clothes. Although the shipping is convenient, I'll go back to buying a couple boxes at a time!

I was really excited to give LOLA a try and to ordered enough for myself and two daughters. Now I'm left with boxes and boxes of expensive tampons that none of us dare use. Two of us have had tampons break apart inside us and don't want to risk having it happen again. I wish I could donate these somewhere but I just can't knowing that this might happen to someone else.

I wanted to love these, especially since they are organic (I have detox issues) and delivered to my door, but with my recent experiences with them, I'm left saddened. First, the applicator is a pain. It catches and I find myself having difficulty with insertion. Sometimes it comes apart and I have to correct it without the applicator. Now the actual job of these tampon is disappointing too. They don't seem to absorb well or expand. Pardon the gross detail, but they leak long before they fill, so what's the point? Within 20-45 minutes it leaks. I pull out the item and it's not even filling yet thecstring is soaked. One even slid out while I went to the bathroom!!! which was horrifying especially since I'm especially small down there. That has never happened and I'm 37. This isn't my first rodeo. Thankfully I wore liners but the liners were full of blood by the time I went to rescue myself from embarrassment. I'm really really dissapointed. I need safe tampons, but they have to do their job! For the price, they should do better than all the others but I'd rather get the dollar store brand than these. I really wanted to love them but they are over priced, messy and just not effective.

I'm going to be bruetely honest and perhaps gross but you need to know. I've never really cared about what kind of tampon I used and for the most part always use the generic version of Tampax. I don't have a heavy period either and have not bled through tampons. I ordered Mylola and got a mix of heavy and medium. I got my period went with the heavy just in case. First off I was annoyed with the applicator. It fell apart so I had to shove it up myself much like the O.B. brand.....Gross. In 2 hours I bled right through. Tried the tampon again and was super careful with the applicator and pinched my vagina. I haven't had so many period accidents since Jr. High. I've given them 2 cycles and have not been impressed, I gave the rest of my unused tampons to a coworker that is all about organic stuff, the next day she said "what the f#@& did you give me? They suck" . These are over priced and don't work well at all. By the way they make it a pain in the butt to cancel too. Don't waste your money.

I like the rest of the women who've left a review revolving the product itself am disappointed. I had gotten my period four days ago and was excited to come home to find my package of Lola had arrived. Almost as if it was in sync with me. I had no problems the first day but then on the second day I noticed I felt as though I was leaking when a.) I had just plugged it in and b.) Took it out to see a mostly blank swab of cotton. The string is always stained red in minutes and without it fully absorbing I was leaking. It sucked because I was out and about. I thought it be a reliable product since it is made by women but it just isn't. I want to feel protected and I just didn't. Constantly worrying about wearing black pants because I'm prone to leaking which I wasn't before. The applicator always pinches my skin as I try to insert and there's always cotton fibers at the end of it which is freaking me out. I rather use a product that is unnatural than unknowingly starting a cotton debris collection inside of me, which can just as easily cause toxic shock. I'm surprised that with all the negative feedback the company is still selling instead of taking a pause to work on the merchandise because it just isn't good.
